Coming from my experience, if you have hair on the wavy side, you can 100% get this. The only thing holding you back is making sure the waves work with the hair. It’s tricky, but as someone with wavy hair, I know it’s 100% possible.

I repeat this process until the hair is dry, and I sweep it back, letting it fall naturally on its own when I'm finished.

I have wavy hair, works for me. Hair is only at the length to my nostrils though, not as long yet. I have thick hair so I have easy to maintain volume. I didn’t get my hair cut like this for this, I originally had it cut as a two block style, but the cut/layering is somewhat similar so it works for me after having my hair grow out for a couple of months.
So for my hair i think it should be a little bit longer than that, cause my hair is between wavy and curly. For that type of hair, it that could be right?
With wavy hair, yes. You just need to make sure it’s blow dried as straight as you can. However you want to go about this is up to you; you can use a brush or you can just find a way that works for you.
It has to be a certain length, currently mine is on it's way to needing a trim and I can put it in a bun because the hair closest to your forehead is longer then the hair towards the back of your head, but when you first get a trim it doesn't look right in a bun because of a lot of loose hair but about 2 weeks in you can do it again no problem. You can then grow it out for a few months again depending on your hair growth rate. Hope that helped, if you have any more questions just shoot man.

When I used to wear the style I used to apply a gel after washing and when brushed away my hair got perfectly straight.. The next day even more silky...
