I have a shifter too on my RS 660, but the manual downshift always feels better with the rev when you use rear brake. But when I attack more with hard braking on front brake, then I use the shifter down (because add throttle during front brakes feel weird)

I enjoy rev matching 😂 I like it so much but I’m starting to use the quickshifter for downshifting more and more
