      Thank you so much for putting the actual full song on here and not just half of it saying it's the full song like most people do. 🙏💯 I also wanted to tell you you are very beautiful and have a cute voice. 😁🤗💖

    I’ve been playing the piano about 6 months. Before starting to learn this piece I thought it would never be completed. I completed today and I’m really glad to be able to play it. I just shared on my TH-cam. 🥹 Thank you for this lesson .

    Wow, you are so great, especially since I learned how to speed up the video. (Of course I love how you are slow and methodical so even relative beginners can learn this) This piece is compelling in that it is so repetitive which on one hand makes it easy bit OTOH makes it difficult because the changes are so subtle. (especially for me because I learned playing by ear) Thank you so much!

    Hello. I have been working on this piece with you for about a month and I think I will have learned it completely in 2 days. really thank you so much. I also have a small request. There is a song on TH-cam that I've been looking for a tutorial video on for hours, but I couldn't find even one channel that explained it the way I wanted. Would you consider making a tutorial for the piece One Summer's Day?

    At the beginning of part 2, at around 14.04 where it's G then Bflat, it says A then Bflat in a keyboard book l have which l was trying to learn this from. But l think it must be a printing mistake, or maybe it's played as A in some arrangements. I don't know. But your way, playing that first note in part two as G, sounds right, so l'm just going to go with that. Thankyou. 😊

    Hi! Thanks for the tutorial. Could you please tell what is the reasoning behind the fingering you use ? In most sheet music for this piece, there are fingers 3 and 1 at the beggining and for first few measures the left hand stays in the same position.

    • @ThePianoKeys
      @ThePianoKeys  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fingering choices are dependent on many things, and different fingerings work for different people. I do have a video on my channel about how I choose fingering.

      Oh...didn't really like much of Beethoven or Chopin, but loved Handel, and Frescobaldi and Gabrielli and Albinoni...and more...chiefly into the Baroque...hated the "modern stuff" as well as current "noise" by those who think the "pop" stuff is great...and surpisingly some "Bluegrass" if done well...grew up with that too...

      No that is not a good sign. It shows that you are playing with tension and sooner or later will develop carpal tunnel or tendinitis. You should work on your technique with a qualified teacher. You can schedule a skype lesson with me to address your specific issue with technique.

    Can you play hello mr grinch or moonlight sonata

    • @ThePianoKeys

      I can't do Beethoven's music because there are copyright issues. I'll put the Grinch song on my list.

      Me neither. I can't do Beethoven 's music either because there are copyright issues.

    • @ThePianoKeys
      @ThePianoKeys  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I figured out the issue. The copyright notice I got wasn't for the music, it was for my performance! Some record label's computer had tagged my performance on the video as a recording of one of their artists. I was able to dispute it and won. I'm now disputing the same issue on my Mozart Sonata video. I mean, you can clearly see my hands on the keys, playing the piece, but I was told that it was some dude's recording. Waiting for that one to be resolved. LOL

      I see. Your piano music is wonderful and beautiful. I saw your hands playing the piano. Mwah! Your fingers are beautiful, too. Outstanding.

    This not the correct way to learn, this is actually a way to learn in correctly, it better to have a teacher.

      I agree, it's better to have a good teacher who can help. Many people aren't able to take lessons, and that's why I do this.

      I don't understand this cultist mentality of "self teaching bad" in piano.... Its damn expensive to get lessons mate, not all of us are 4 and have partners who can afford classes.
