One of my friends recently said how she is struggling with time management with her 5 kids ranging from newborn through nine and homeschools them. I am glad that you have found your way over time, and so will my friend. I don't know what it is like to have that many children or more. I am glad that I could share this video with her.
You can start it when they are ready, which can vary with each child. It should be started after the child has shown other indications of being ready. If you google "how to tell if your child is ready for preschool" or "reading" you will find dozens of articles on it! Sometimes, however, they are ready very young, but typically if that happens they might reach a lull and need some time to "simmer" on the concepts awhile. It's critical to take things at the child's pace when they are so little. A lot of problems can arise if you push them, such as damaging their eyes and causing them to need glasses, and even learning disorders that may not have happened otherwise. Typically boys take a quite a bit longer than girls as their bodies develop differently.
