She wasn’t perfect but I actually loved that because it felt like a genuine performance. The backing track wasn’t too loud and she gave the performance her all. I wish more idols did this and didn’t try to be absolutely perfect when performing
I would like to thank kbs for supporting hyorin in her solo career in 2018: giving her a stage on mubank to perform see sea, giving her a slot to appear on Yoo hui yeol's sketchbook and even giving her a chance to perform her new tracks to countdown to the new year on this drama awards. I'm truly so grateful and thankful for this. And I would also like to thank hyorin for working so hard this year to share her music to the Korean public and for being able to hold a solo concert this year and slayed every performance she did this year. May 2019 be a more prospering year for hyorin!!!!!
Nice Touch nah, pretty sure performers can only perform what’s been approved by the producers. You got rehearsals going too. Unless they suddenly want to rip off shirts or whatever (since it is a live broadcast anyway) that’d be different. But I don’t think that’s the case with her performance. ((And personally I think any blames would only be “appropriate” to be expressed towards KBS team (since they’re the one that calling and approving them performers) they should know how her performances will be, duh))
One thing that I love so much about Hyolyn (and Hwasa since it’s the same subject) is that although they both get so much backlash for being sexy, nothing is stopping them and They embrace it even harder!
This makes me so sad 😭 She is such a great artist however bullying in any way is not acceptable. We shouldn’t judge on people’s past mistakes so I hope she addresses this and apologizes to the person affected. This is an unfortunate situation but I hope they can turn this around.

I quite enjoyed her performance here. It was actually quite refreshing. I mean drama awards tend to be boring as compared to music show awards, so Hyolin's performance was like a breather for us. I personally see nothing wrong or offensive in the performance. They invited Hyolyn so they should know her songs. She won't suddenly sing trot or random pop songs because this is kbs drama. Besides people knew actors are mostly silent audience and stick to clapping through a performance. As for their expressions, they may be shocked or amazed, we don't know but they surely don't seem repulsed by it. I don't think it's possible. At least on every show (even small ones) there are rundown containing the performances. Of course kbs should knew. And the music usually prepared then sent or something to kbs. And there's always a soundcheck

She owns her own agency. It is called Bridge Entertainment. She probably did choose what to wear or sing or at least had a say in it. And she should. Some of them were polite, some were jamming to the songs and some had their jaws dropped.

Actors and Actresses In awards have a Long standing history of having a calm/chill reaction. Perhaps for image purposes. Hyolyn did nothing wrong , KBS signed her up and they most probably approved her set list. She was just doing her job.

I quite enjoyed her performance here. It was actually quite refreshing. I mean drama awards tend to be boring as compared to music show awards, so Hyolin's performance was like a breather for us. Have an of you people thought that KBS wants to get rid of their banning title so they brought Hyolyn on to show that they are going to be more open like other award shows. I personally see nothing wrong or offensive in the performance. They invited Hyolyn so they should know her songs. She won't suddenly sing trot or random pop songs because this is kbs drama. She is practically almost covered and her moves are simply the choreography of the dance. There should be nothing malicious seen in the performance. Besides people knew actors are mostly silent audience and stick to clapping through a performance. As for their expressions, they may be shocked or amazed, we don't know but they surely don't seem repulsed by it. So let's leave it at that and stop stirring non-existent controversy over the performance.

I don't think it's possible. At least on every show (even small ones) there are rundown containing the performances. Of course kbs should knew. And the music usually prepared then sent or something to kbs. And there's always a soundcheck

Not sure why everyone blames the artist. In Korea the agency controls evvvvverything. As far as I'm concerned she looks pretty classy and did a good job dancing and vocals.
She owns her own agency. It is called Bridge Entertainment. She probably did choose what to wear or sing or at least had a say in it. And she should. She has been in the industry for so long and should have a say in what she does on stage. I agree with what you said about the audience. They are not showing expressions of disgust or disapproval. Some of them were polite, some were jamming to the songs and some had their jaws dropped.
Hyolin has it and likes to show it. A different outfit won't hide that dance.
She likely chose that outfit as she's the CEO lol. But instead of blaming Hyolyn, ask why KBS invited her to perform at the Drama Awards. All awkward reactions from the actors aside, I'm always amazed by her live vocals. I mean the choreo is very difficult I would probably sound like a dying chicken if I try to sing and dance to her songs.

Actors and Actresses In awards have a Long standing history of having a calm/chill reaction. Perhaps for image purposes. Hyolyn did nothing wrong , KBS signed her up and they most probably approved her set list. She was just doing her job.
She's always gotten hate for almost EVERYTHING she does. Now she's on her own, doesn't have her members to worry about and she's coming to collect y'alls jaws on the floor.

She slayed all of it and owned it but the kbs drama awards are pretty formal occasions so I can understand why people were angry at the Dally stage. I think the performance would’ve been much better suited and recognised in music awards like mama.

Have to note that the organizers should be responsible. They are most likely aware of the songs hyolyn is performing and they shouldve thought based on their judgment if it was appropriate or not. I hope people dont blame hyolyn and hate her for this
