I think there are things that need more attention and criticism than an artist doing a sexy performance, such as cases of sexual abuse, verbal abuse, and idol suicides that occur in kpop.
Calling that trashy is precisely why we need more social awareness. Who came up with those norms? Who gives one the right and authority to judge what is "okay" to wear and what is not. I think it's about time to leave behind those Victorian ideals. Some women feel empowered dressing up "modestly", while some find it empowering when they embrace their sexuality and show off that particular aspect. All I see on that stage is a beautiful and powerful artist, let's atleast respect the artist for their craft.
It's pop music, and it's not a west or Korean thing. If it was, then there should have been a classical orchestra instead of kpop artist. Its not the general assembly or high level function, it is an awards show. Ban kpop if it offends Koreans. It offends the rest of the world with the same old stale routines and assembly line groups.

My opinion; She did amazing with her performance. The downside is that it's not a music award. The producers should know that if you invited Hyolyn, you will expect her to performed her songs and not the songs she had with Sistar or songs from the dramas. But all I know of what I think, the producers make this intentionally because they want to rank up this show. After the Hwasa incident, they realise that this could enhance the show even more. Anyway, both Hwasa and Hyolyn did amazing performances last year and thank you to people who invited them to perform.

If there was such a big problem with her outfit, KBS would have told her to wear something different. If her performance of Dally was a problem, KBS would have told her to perform a different song seeing as she has a lot of solos to choose from. KBS is known for banning things they find inappropriate and this was obviously not one of them. If there was such a big problem with her outfit, KBS would have told her to wear something different. If her performance of Dally was a problem, KBS would have told her to perform a different song seeing as she has a lot of solos to choose from. KBS is known for banning things they find inappropriate and this was obviously not one of them. I do think she could have chosen a better outfit for this specific show, but hey, they let her wear it so im not mad because i got to see Hyolyn slay and show all the girlies how its really done.

I came back here knowing she's a contestant in Queendom 2, at the same time, i'm honestly hoping that hyolyn can perform internationally or in west. For example, in coachella (glad that they're now allowing k-pop idols/artist to perform) because she always slay in her performances.
