I will be very honest and admit I once didn't know the law on filming in a public place either and I would have thought the same as many of these lot but then again, I don't work in security or anything like that so it's not really something that I ever needed to challenge anybody on but I'm glad I've been made aware by channels like this because it must be very embarrassing to be on TH-cam giving out what they were so sure was right and they later find out it's incorrect 🤭
Stood there with his hands in pockets, chewing gum looking down his nose at you whilst breaking the law and being the only criminal there. I can't stand these arrogant entitled ignorant minimum wagers. If only they could really see themselves. Give him a high viz and he would think he was king of the hill.
10:07 to the over confident security manager, if a place is publicly accessible, IT IS A PUBLIC PLACE and as such we can do anything that is allowed in public !!!!
Under article 8 of the human rights act we have the right to keep our thoughts motives reasons etc private. What's he on about saying the "way you have been taking photo's" what's he on about!! You point a camera you press a button!! What ways are there to take a photo. Obviously just trying to make out you are doing something malicious!!! How can a lawful activity be in anyway malicious.
Suspicion is someone's opinion without evidence. No one has ever been charged with suspicion. No one has ever stood in a court of law charged with suspicion. It has to be reasonable articuable suspicion of a named offence. I.e the section of an act.
Section 10 allows us to gather and impart information. Section 1 protocol 1 allows us to enjoy our possessions. Like your camera equipment. Anyone who tries to stop us is infringing on our human rights.
15:21 oh dear !!! Another over confident security manager committing the crime of not displaying his SIA license whilst in the commission of his security duties!!! Come on #sialicense ( uphold you licensing conditions )
Is he still talking 🤦 follow you all the way home. Threatening now. He thinks he’s the king pin 🤡 the building of glass 🤷 this is going to be repeated many times now for people to see 👏 good one SA
Where is your security licence? 'In my pocket'..and he doesn't even bother to show it..wow,,and he is a security manager!!?really....and chewing like a cow speaking to a member of the public!? wow...appalling
Yep. That was the bit that made me cringe a little - when you couldn't immediately produce the legislation. I have a program I use called Evernote with which I can save complete notes, pictures, whatever and it is available online as well as on my phone. If you don't want to spring for Evernote you can use Microsoft's One Note - which I think will do most of the same things. I think that a leaflet that you could hand out might also be useful - perhaps one that summarizes the different stuff you have to deal with - eg. requirement for PCSOs to produce their designation card, wording of the drone requirements regarding flying in proximity to buildings/people etc. - instructions to police officers from their superiors regarding whether photography qualifies as grounds for detainment under section 43 etc. I'm living in New Zealand (which has different laws to UK) but I'm becoming familiar with much of the UK laws through the likes of auditors like you and AB. Keep up the good work - I'll give you a B+ today because you weren't quite prepared enough with your paperwork 😉
I don't believe how ignorant of the law security employees are. I do know it's a job where unskilled people can get a job and that's a good thing but my god. So if you use a camera you're breaking the law but having no SIA on display is legal. Think they should be working at McDonald's lol
PARANOIA AND IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS THE REASON BUILDING SECURITY LEAVE THIER PREMISES AND TELL PEOPLE ON THE PAVEMENT HOW TO BEHAVE. AT THE SAME TIME BREAKING THE LAW BY NOT SHOWING THEIR BLUE SIA BADGE. WHAT'S more these guards seem to find the fact that they are breaking the law highly amusing. IF people took THIER responsibilities more seriously then there would be fewer WAYNE CUSSONS.
"If I turn around three times it's harassment" 🤣😂🤣 Where do you read this rubbish? The Protection from Harassment Act 1997 used to say "on two separate occasions" but I believe this has been changed by the introduction of an amendment in the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005. I'm not aware of a number of instances required now to make the offence, it certainly isn't three. I think you're getting mistaken with Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz clicking her red shoes to get back to Kansas. And for Christ's sake put a shortcut on your home screen to the legislation you need to refer to regularly.
It's still a bit ambiguous but - *Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005* 106(7)(3) A “course of conduct” must involve - (a) in the case of conduct in relation to a single person (see section 1(1)), conduct on at least two occasions in relation to that person, or (b) in the case of conduct in relation to two or more persons (see section 1(1A)), conduct on at least one occasion in relation to each of those persons. - - - - - The Crown Prosecution Service, on the subject of 2 or more occasions, interestingly states that " There is no requirement that the incidents comprising the course of conduct need be of the same nature. "
“”Charles Russell” could be one of at least 2 people!: founder member of the JW ‘cult movement: Jehovah Witnesses. Or, …….this is an ‘international Law Firm’. The latter the more likely.
Scorpion, for fux sake man, you have a bad habit of talking over other people. Let someone finish their sentence…then you talk. Thats called a conversation. I like your videos, but you got to calm down and talk distinctly and succinctly.
@ ah. Gotcha. Well that makes sense. I only noticed it on this video…not the few previous ones Ive watched. So yeah i see that’s a tactic now. Getting dominance.
Arms crossed, rocking back and forth, self-soothing behaviour. Knows he's wrong.
Excellent love the way you engage with people
Very entertaining video. Always nice to see people who think they know everything, but really don't.
Yeah, terrorists bring out Permit the Frog and Bert! Another example of over enthusiastic security staff committing offences.
Really enjoyed this. There is so much ignorance amongst the 'security' industry.
Oscar winning content here 'Bert'! Respect!😊
Bert is great , you should of kept him out for the full conversation . Once he was out he should stay out until they leave 😂
Good Point
Should of said to the not allowed guy... your not allowed to talk to me it's my policy.
Nice one mate good job.
Thanks 👍
" building policy" knock knock can i film. 😂😂😂😂😂
Im not sure he appreciated the comedy elements? 😂 good one pal 👍
The Manager got it

One is a know-all, the other one thinks he's a villain, what a pair of tossers.
Bert and Kermit😂brilliant!

Pretty sure we've seen him before through other auditors..... He doesn't seem to learn and is totally disrespectful
He is like a Cow chowing the cud
it@@neilsouthern321 cows know their place.
Love it when Bert came out....😂😂😂
And the OSCAR goes tooooooooo.... Scorpion audits. Congratulations!
lol - Bert was the Star of The Show
@scorpionaudits at times, it did feel like a Tim Burton/Johnny Depp type production lol
5:50 OSCAR was straight over his head…
another briliant video
Thanks again!
Bert love it lol
permit the frog.....class.
11:30 I realise he’s old but from 1972 it has definitely been lawful to film in a public place hence the criminal justice act 1972 (section 33) !!!!
Yes that's what I like.😁
Just an addition, I watched the film twice to be sure
14:07 Is that a cow that is ruminating? 🤣
Or am I mistaken
10:07 to the over confident security manager, if a place is publicly accessible, IT IS A PUBLIC PLACE and as such we can do anything that is allowed in public !!!!
If the guy knew you was making financial gain by his presence, he would be livid lol
24:35 if you were just observing, why did you talk to the videographer ? ??
I wonder if these 'prestigious' companies get embarrassed by
the low standards of their security personnel ???
He is like a Cow chowing the cud
Great video. I like the way you can make them look so stupid.
Thanks!
So the security guard mistook SA for Steven Spielberg?
Worried about terrorists whilst sandwiched between those two 🤦

Dude ! screenshot the SIA license rules and regulations then keep it in your photos , then you don`t take 15 minutes looking for it.
If only you watched the whole video.
“”Charles Russell” could be one of at least 2 people!: founder member of the JW ‘cult movement: Jehovah Witnesses. Or, …….this is an ‘international Law Firm’. The latter the more likely.
Your sarcasm is wasted on security staff.
