I don't consider this a fix. How about actually replacing the broken lever? I have a kia optima 2010 with a broken latch, and cannot for the life of me figure out the spring and latch configuration, and no resources online that I can find.

@AmandaGirl675 worst model EVER!!! I had to buy velcro to keep the console down. Hang in there! I still have mine, but not without a lot of repairs. Some wear and tear and some just plain cheap parts put in by the manufacturer. I can't afford another car, so for now, I will drive my Jalopy with pride.

@AmandaGirl675 Gurrrlll! Me too! Were our cars on the same assembly line 😆! How is your weather stripping holding up? Last week, I rolled up my back passenger window and pieces of stripping rolled up with it! Oh, and the hanging plastic part on my gas cap broke. It's getting comical at this point.
