As far as I know, yeh Sare chij kisi specific place ki nature of vacancies pe depend karte hai and uske according kuch ko civil judge and kuch ko judicial magistrate banaya jata hai. Once you are an ADJ, you get the power to hear both type of cases.

Within the state aapke promotions and transfer pe depend karte hai. Even this scenario is possible wherein at the same place aap ek saal ke liye civil judge raho and then baki kuch samay ke liye judicial magistrate and vice versa. So, judicial officers doesn't get any choice for it. Instead, it all happens as per the vacancy and other relevant circumstances.

As per the limited knowledge of mine Paridhi, the post for Judicial Magistrate 2nd Class is held for initial 6 months/1year by the newly inducted officers. Post that, you either become jmfc or civil judge. I hope I have answered your query.

For PCS-J, freshers are also eligible . But same is not the case with HJS. HJS ke liye you have to have a min of 7 years of experience. Only then, you are eligible to apply for it. Through HJS, you are inducted as ADJ. Through pcs j, you are inducted as civil judge/judicial magistrate. Hope I have answered your query.

@@Thelegalcafe24 Okay Sir, but dont you think that such promotions to the HC in UP were because of its split and emergence of a new HC, which led to a large number of vacancies of HC Judges; and now, one joining PCS-J has little to no chance of climbing up to the HC level, given, theres a constant talk of removing the lower age limit of 35 years in HJS (already been done in Delhi), which practically makes it all the way more difficult for PCS-J officers to even comfortably reach DSJ level, ps.- just what i know and what i think :)
@@satyamjain6546 HJS candidates get their promotion keeping in view the percentage of seats that have been kept reserved for them. Pcsj candidates get their promotion against the reserved percentage of seats for them. So even if let's say the minimum age limit gets reduced, it ain't gonna affect the chances of the ones that came in via pcsj. Having said that, it's definitely gonna help those aspirants who have always dreamt of getting into judiciary via hjs channel.
Registrar General is a deputation post & It would not be counted in the regular promotion channel. Likewise, few adj also are appointed on post of registrar but that doesn't imply that all of them will necessarily have to become registrar before being promoted as district judge.
Both are good in their own ways. However, it is to be noted that Ias is a class A Gazzetted Officer post & Civil Judge is a class B Gazzetted officer post.

@@Thelegalcafe24 Thank you for replying......I given entrance for CUET PG as LLB degree in Delhi university is entrance based enrollment but result didn't came out yet ....is there any other way for LLB from correspondence, Distance or ODL mode for becoming a judge ... I have Msc degree also and I wanted to become a scientist but the motivation or what you are going to say it for becoming a judge is that police not able understand perfectly because I was not able to speak in hindi and punjabi apart from english and the JMIC didn't heard me atleat 40% my statement and focebly kept me in protective home by saying lie to me that we are admitting to a hospital and torcher there it was hilarious that's why I wanted to study LLB and become a judge and fight for my case and other's too because right now its been 6 month over I am not able challenge accused bail and no advocate helping me yet.....

For your situation, we would recommend you to seek legal aid.
From career point of view, LLB is a UG course, so you need not apply for CUET Pg.
