The egg whites act as raising agent and no baking powder is required.

Usually no cinnanom in the financier! Just almond extract or (even better) a few ground bitter almonds!
Nuts also have oils
I thought financiers are supposed to be used burnt butter🤔
maybe that's the madeleines? i never know the difference between them
always use brown butter for financiers

Every recipe I have seen for financiers uses brown butter except for this one.
