Hi Schmidy!! I saw your another videos of TSWL and im looking for a decent solo/survival build. With all the changes in the game, not sure where to start! All you recomendations will be very appreciated. Keep it up with, you're doing a great work for newbies/returning players ;)
Do the dungeon drops come in 1, 2 and 3 dots as well? how rare is it to find a 3 dot dungeon drop? Also, is the base stat (attack rating) the same in a quest 3 dot item that it is a dungeon drop 3 dot item?
Hello Bishiknight! I started following your channel lately as i am leveling up in SWL! I am level 34 hammer/shotgun/AR focused and wanted to ask if i should worry now at leveling up 3 pip items? Should i just level up with whatever i get and Upgrade the talismans i come across? Or should i worry buying 3 pip talismans from the AH and start leveling them up? Moreover do higher quality talismans (ex. Puprle) drop from end game dungeons?
Hey Schmidy, What is good, efficient way to upgrade your gear. Do i level what i am wearing up to max before i Level another two pieces to merge. For example, I know they don't give you what you need to upgrade each time. So with your Chaos focus, you need to level that to 25 and you need another blue at max. Am i supposed to level up two more "Green" items to merge into a blue and then level that...or is there another way i dont see. Will Quest start dropping Blue items? I'm currently 28 and still get Standard Bag drops.
It sounds like you have the correct idea. After you get a piece to level 25 blue, you will have to get another piece to level 25 blue to merge them, That will require getting two greens maxed first, and fusing them into a blue. You can get blue drops from loot bags, and probably from the auction house, but they will either be rare or expensive, respectively.
You were very unclear here. You made it seem like that particular mission gave you access to Head slot items. Were you trying to say that gaining level 15 will do that or that progressing the story line mission will do this?
I apologize for being unclear. The way I made it seem is correct, though. That particular story mission gives you access to head slot items. As you progress, you will unlock access to more items through the story line. First the story mission will give you an item for that slot, then talismans that go into that slot will become possible loot when you open loot bags.
I'm lvl 20 in the school and I can barely kill stuff anyone have any ideals I'm doing the solo basement mission with the crazy magic girl/person I feel way under leveled at this point and don't get any new weapons :'( help I love this game and I'm so lost
There are several things that might help, so I'll list them here in approximate order of importance. Level- If you are at all below the level of the enemies you are facing, the penalties are severe. Do a few missions to get a level or two above things you are fighting. Anima Allocation- If you have unlocked this, know that the expected allocation for solo content is 90% damage, 10% survivability, but you can often get away with 100%/0%. You'll have to find your comfort zone. Gear- You should be empowering (leveling) your talismans with trash talismans you get from loot and distillates from dungeons, fusing two maxed pieces of gear to make higher rarity gear, and looking for gear with more "pips". Each piece of dropped gear has a number of pips from 1 to 3. The higher the number, the better the gear. Note that higher level gear is much more important than high pip gear. You'll just want to upgrade the higher pip gear with the lower pip gear when you fuse them. Skills- For solo content, you should have a single target power ability (colored red) for both your weapons, an AoE power ability (colored red) from your main weapon, an elite skill (aoe if available, colored gold) for your main weapon, a basic ability (aoe if available, colored white), and your choice of special abilities (colored blue) to fill any additional slots. You should also have passive abilities. Usually the best choice is to pick the passives that buff the actives you have slotted. Hit Rating- Until you have enough of it, you can glance against enemies. Glancing blows do severely reduced damage and don't prok their additional effects such as DoTs. If you see a red GLANCE on the damage values you do to enemies, that means you need more hit. I would suggest getting the passives for your skills first, then prioritizing hit rating on the passive trees. This can be hard to come by if you have healing weapons (fist, rifle, blood), because they don't have any hit rating on their passive trees. (It's more like a passive stick, but you know what I mean.) Glyphs- Once your talismans can slot glyphs, you can add them to your gear. This can help you get more hit rating, as well as increase your critical rating and critical power. They upgrade the same way as talismans.
Damn i didnt know i should have got a radiant weapon. I upgraded my pistol and it had no dots. WTF why wouldn't the game be a little bit more transparent. Waisting my time.
It is actually neither! Some interaction between SWL and my old recording software made this happen. I have changed the recording software I use since then, and the audio is much better. Apologies for the distraction.

How did you get such high healing rating? I can't seem to do that
is it worth feeding a shadow bound weapon? i like the revanent
Shadow bound weapons generally aren't the best overall, but they're decent, free, and if you like the revenant, that's just icing on the cake.
How to insert a glyph?
Does this stuff level up through use/xp?

Why the fuck did they even rework the gearing system ... they didn't do anything on these SWL changes that the community asked them to.
idk if its your mic or my speakers but your very static
