In regards to having a full length album. You do. Compile all 8 songs into a playlist..... and you have actually created a proper full length album. The only question is.... do you folks have any interest in actually doing such? Incredibly great songs.... but you guys could use a little more cohesion.
@@CountryMouseCityCrimes thank you so much for your input and kind words! To your point of compiling songs into an album, that is exactly the plan. We are currently finishing up 4-5 more songs, and compiling 5 of our current songs that are closest stylistically into a full length album, due to be released sometime in the first quarter of next year. The plan was originally the just release singles forever, but we have actually been able to grow a nice little fan base and they have expressed the same thoughts as yourself. So we’re making it happen. 👍🏼
@@Dream_elixir_band Is it safe to assume you'll be looking at cutting tracks like Fields of Elysium? I see the stylistic difference between some of the newer material... but I would urge you to consider keeping it all and expanding it further. There are tons of incredible deathcore and metalcore albums. What makes this genre memorable in the long term is keeping the album dynamic. Adding the slow song, the wierd song, the pretty song.... lots of avenues a band can take. But something like Elysium which has massive hard rock leanings would still be an incredible track to have somewhere towards the end of an album like this. Be Dream Elixir. Not deathcore/metalcore band #208484 you know?
@@CountryMouseCityCrimesall very good points! The only reason why I want Fields to not make the cut for the album is because it was made with a featured vocalist before I started working with my permanent vocalist, Sean. It’s one of those things where it would be great to include it, but it doesn’t feel right including songs where he was never a part of, you know? We both love all styles of metal, so we will never stop branching out and making what we want. We will never go a certain direction just because we feel we need to follow a trend. I think so far, we’ve made a lot of different sounding songs, but the songs that have performed best for us are Dear Reaper and this new one by far though, so the dark, ambient, heavy ones will always be something we love to create and they seem to be a lot of peoples favorites too!
@@CountryMouseCityCrimesthat being said, we already have plans to make some different stuff for the final couple new songs. We’re looking to make the outro a very melodic and emotional song, not just something stupid heavy. We’re trying to do our best just to create what we love without becoming stale or monotonous, which is why our previous song Heavenbreaker was fun for us because it included a ton of melodic elements, a clean chorus and intro, and symphonic elements.
@@Dream_elixir_band Seriously y'all have a superb sound. Instantly up there with Shadow of Intent, Signs of the Swarm, Mental Cruelty, Xenotheory, etc. another slamming deathcore king at the table.
