    I had Thali 2 days ago, your mom is right, it is so flavorful! It is not the same place, I went here in Mexico but it was basically the same experience, I loved every piece of food they gave me.
    Thank you very much, your videos are always a pleasure to watch, very informative, i stopped buying useless/expensive skin care thanks to your knowledge.

    Dr.Dray, I've found that the benefit of the Haba Labo cleansing oil is that after breaking down the sebum & dirt, it emulsifies when water is introduced & it rinses away cleanly. I've used commercial cleansing balms & oils & they left oily residue that needed to be wiped away with a cloth - & still followed by a 2nd cleanse. Same goes with olive oil, coconut oil, Crisco. I do still do a double cleanse with the Hada Labo, just as I prefer to do no matter what I use. My skin is much happier since I subscribed to your channel! So many people comment about binge-watching & I agree. That's beneficial, though, since often you'll touch on something & then in a different video you'll explain in greater depth (& not necessarily in a designated content video) ~ *thanks*! Blessings! Hi Dr.Dray,
    Have you checked the new Vichy gel product?
    Mineral 89
    I liked the ingredients, no fragrance, very simple, with hylauronic acid. I have been using it in my wet face after I wash. I would say that it is similar to the neutrogena hydro boost gel.
    Idk if it is too expensive over there, but here in Ireland I payed 22€.
    Have a great day!

    Dr Dray, thank you for another fun video! I love that you and your Mom have such a good time together. Question re: tinted sunscreens. Have you tried any of Physicians Formula 30 spf BB creams? Looking for lower cost products and they claim no animal testing but they don't have a bunny on the label. I like the feel of the one I tried but wondering about the sun protection effectiveness. Look like mineral vs chemical.

    Ive used Humphreys before. Its good. And you sure do solidify my thoughts on the volcanic ash products. I have a charcoal mask from Origins that Ive used for years and now I use straight bentonite clay. You should try "Aztec Indian" brand. Its in powder form so you have to mix it but I pay $6 for a big tub of it and it really pulls all that junk from your skin.

    I use the Heimish All Clean Balm. It's the best I've used. It's also the most affordable. I've read that coconut oil is potentially pore clogging/comedogenic. Thoughts?

    • @DrDrayzday
      @DrDrayzday  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      the "pore clogging" rating/hysteria of things on the internet is not valid

  • @rosemarykathryn4532
    @rosemarykathryn4532 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was considering getting CiZ Purity so this came at the right time! A lot if people say Heimish's balm is better than Banila Co's, but i'm cautious because the 1st ingredient in Heimish is Ethylhexyl Palmitate, wich is known to be highly comedogenic! What do you think?

    • @DrDrayzday
      @DrDrayzday  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The "comedongenic" scale all over the internet is not valid as it is consumer based, and "break out" can mean MANY things...this is person dependent, and there is nothing wrong with the ingredient

    imo the difference between cleansing oils/balms and just plain oil is just the emulsifier. I find that they rinse off well without leaving much oily residue. I only need a gentle face cleanser after that. when using plain oils, they do remove makeup just as good but when trying to rinse them off, I find most leave an oily residue and I need to wash my face twice after that, which can leave my face feeling a bit stripped. but in terms of removing makeup, they are all the same imo. Balms are less messy and travel friendly.

    Dr. Dray, people are always saying if you are a side sleeper you will get wrinkles where your face hits the pillow and kind of crinkles up. Is that true and if so should you use a pillow for side sleepers to help that. I know you say we should sleep on our backs but some of us just can't do it for all night long. I start out that way but after a while I rollover to my side.

    I just watched another youtuber (you are still the BEST!), but was interested in her skin care beliefs. Her name is Olgatoja, from Poland, and she uses a lot of Asian skin products, too. Like Huda Labo Arbutin and Kojic Acid Cream...also, Black Pearl Mask. Do these have any other purpose besides skin whitening? She does have gorgeous skin, and believes in daily facial massage with rapeseed oil.

    What do you think of the pure clay masks from Loreal? They do make your skin feel soft, though I don't think they will help to minimize the pores.

    • @rosemarykathryn4532
      @rosemarykathryn4532 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tried the mattifying clay mask, but i found bentonite clay powder mixed with raw apple cider vinegar is more effective.

    • @DrDrayzday
      @DrDrayzday  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks! I discuss bentonite clay in my pores Q&A and oily skin care routines....at the end of the day all of these masks are sold with marketing claims, but bentonite is really the only ingredient that binds up much oil and it is transient

    Why in the world are satin or silk pillowcases problematic? I have a silk one and it has made a real difference in keeping my hair from tangling and the ends from fraying at night. I cant for the life of me see why this is a problem.

      Dr Dray does it have any coverage? I had asked about the elta uv physical and I actually received it Saturday. I've had my 2 days off of work and I stay inside and watch videos or read so I haven't tried it yet. I can't wait! when I saw you using this one, I was like ohhh. lol. not like I need any more sunscreens. I have an addiction with trying different sunscreens and other skincare. but I've tried the uv daily and uv clear. I like those but they can sting my eyes and make them water so badly when I'm driving to work so I try not to get chemical ones. but I can't wait to try the uv physical. I am pale so I'm hoping it is not too dark! but I was curious about that Dr jart being tinted. it didn't look like it but wanted to ask. they have a ton of different bb creams and I've heard great things about them all. I had not seen that one though.
