You know, you see the name of a song that you have liked all your life, then you see Tommy Johansson's name, and you think...no...not sure he is going to be able to pull this off and make it sound good. Then you listen and are blown away, and now you have two favorite versions of the song you like so much. Outstanding work, Tommy. Simply outstanding.
I absolutely fell in love with him, well, his music, first time I heard him sing "I'd Do Anything for Love". I'm a Jim Steinman devotee and am a very tough critic on anyone covering his songs ... you won a fan with that one, Tommy!

I am a flutist/pianist in Michigan and I wish with all my heart that I could meet you. My heart is the problem though. I have a heart transplant and I now need two valves replaced, which means a third open heart surgery. Your music has a wonderfully calming effect on me. Thank you.

Right, so, apart from the talent that obviously goes through the roof, both vocally and instrumentally. What I also admire about this man, is his good humor and positive state at all times. That is to be appreciated, because after all we’re all human beings, and therefore have got our own troubles, either health-wise, or family-wise, or u name it any other type of problem. But he never allows that to affect the quality of his work as a musician, and because I realize that is probably quite hard to achieve, man u’ve got all my respect. Blessed be and keep up the good work 💙

I just found Tommy Jay by accident… Like just now, and just heard of Eric Gronwall a few days ago. I am deeply saddened that he quit the band but his health is far more important. I’m just disappointed that I just found him and now he’s gone off on his own. Now that I’ve discovered these two awesome gents, I am going to check out their Collab and find out what they’re all about.

I just found Tommy Jay by accident. Love this song by John Denver and typically I would not like the remakes, but Tommy J rips it up. Love this version. So I now wonder what else Tommy Jay has done that will blow me away.

I found Tommy 6 months ago with his version of “Your the Voice”. (Nailed it of course🇦🇺) I found Sabaton 2 weeks ago (from the comments) and of course Majestica, none of which gets played on Australian radio. I’m 51 and feel like I’ve been ripped off not knowing of these or other Swedish bands. (How many more are there?) Now, on the way to work I have Tommy ripin on the Spotify, lovin Tommy’s versions of popular songs as well as ReinXeed/Majestica. 🤙🏼🇦🇺
