Been watching your content for years and missed you while you were gone. Im glad to see you back and am excited to see you you create. You are an inspiration.
Thanks for coming back. You have the best DIY channel I have come across. You are truly a wonderful teacher and I have learned so much. If ever you get a chance, can you show us an L. Shaped desk build , which I want to create for my office. Love your style.
I’m a big fan of this channel. You do such a good job showing how reachable this craft can be. So many “experts” out there are quick to show how amazing their craftsmanship is, and good for them. But you have the skills and yet continue to help the rest of us feel that we can do these things too. It’s great.
Definitely, a sectional and an ottoman would compliment this chair perfectly.....and I glad to see you back an posting a new vid !!! I think I can speak for all of us here.....we've missed you !!! 🤟♥️
Your channel is the best ever. I have been watching you for a minute. You are the ULTIMATE creator. God has blessed you with amazing hands and you teach. Priceless. Thank you for this video Sir !!!!
I said it on the last one, and I'll say it on this one. I am SO happy that you're back mentally and posting again. Your videos are always clean and relatable. Thanks for putting in the work for us to watch! And yes, this chair is great, a full series on the other pieces for a living room would be amazing.
Great video! Been following you for a while and I have to say you are still one of the few channels that literally do DIY with tools that a DIYer would have. I love every video.
I just subscribe to your channel yesterday. I literally watched like 3, 4, 5, videos back to back. I love your work. I live in a small apt. I am not a fan of all the cookie cutter manufactured items. I'm sort of a DIY type of girl. I have to start from scratch to get tools and such but it's gonna be so worth it. Thank you for inspiring me. Blessings, peace and love to you and your family 🫶🏾
Normally, I am skeptical of these type of square outdoor chairs, but yours is by far and away the most interesting. I love the two-tone look and the offset legs put this build well above any other I have seen of this style. As a bigger person, I can see how this would be comfortable for me, especially the added plank in the back. If it should be too low, I can always add a little more to the legs. Plenty of room for individual adaptation!. I appreciate your videos--they have always been down to earth for this fairly inexperienced woodworker.
I am a long time follower and love your stuff. Thank you for sharing the better health. I've been in therapy at the VA for a bit and it really does help if you use the tool. I just had spinal fusion surgery so I'm kind of going through it. But... I think a side table would be cool, or a table you could pull close to use as a writing or drawing surface would actually be something I could use right now.
I love your hard work, coaching, and demeanor. I would love to see a three seat chair. The best part of this video is knowing that your still out there! All the best as usual. Take best care!
I'd like a chase lounge with an adjustable back rest, so that I can lay flat and take a nap or sit straight up and work on my laptop or hand sewing project and still have my feet up. And a few positions in between for just lounging. And I need a place for my cellphone and favorite beverage... Maybe even a fold out shelf to lay my lap top whilst taking a break. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵. Take care of yourself and each other 😷.
I would add arms - a flat board that sticks out the same width as the legs (and that same distance inwards as well). Looks like the chair is plenty wide to accomodate an inch or two of the arm protruding inward. Loving this look, will be giving it a try myself (and trying out my suggestion on the arms).
Greetings, I am glad you are back. Ideas for pieces that match the chair: coffee table, dining table, love seat, vertical lamp or possibly built-in unit for the living room (entertainment unit/enclosure for wide screen TV). I hope this helps.
I like the color scheme here alot. The iron ore looks nice on camera. Also, the seat area has gaps, so you can fasten your cushion. That is a kinda important IMO, as the buttom cushion always moves. Two things I would have done differently. Miter the leg joints and tilt the back in an angle, tho the 90° fits the box style. A set with a two seater bench in the same style would look great.
I love the way you describe what you are doing and you speak so well. Your voice and persona is very warm and comforting. You are great. Take care of yourself and KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Great job brother. Good to see you back in action, been hoping and praying you'd come back. Hope everything is going much better now. Can't wait until the next one.
I've been thinking about trying to put together some wooden planter boxes lately and along comes this video, like a sign! Would love to see your take on planters matching this style. It's been lovely seeing you again! Your videos always inspire.
Very classy! The minimalistic design reminds me of the dutch architects/painters Rietveld and Mondriaan, they also made very minimalistic yet comfortable chairs in the 1920s/1930s
Love the look of the chair, Awesome work!! As you said you are looking to make more to match, I'd love to see you make an extendable table with benches 😊
Your channel is therapeutic for me. Mwen renmen li anpil (I love it a lot). Thank you. My idea for this is strange. A mini lounge for children/teens when friends are coming over to have fun, talk, or work.
This video is perfect for beginners like me who want to spruce up their outdoor space on a budget. The design is modern and chic, and the breakdown feature is ideal for those with limited storage space. It's like having custom-made furniture without the custom-made price!
Welcome back again! Man your channel is one of my favorite channels on youtube, hope we see a lot more of your content! I checked always when I’m on youtube if you upload a new video! I saw you as good as April Wilkerson and John Malecki!
Dude I’m building my confidence to build my entire kitche, living room & bedroom sets….. Watching this channel I’m working on my floating bed now…. Thanks for sharing your time and expertise Bro 😎 👍🏾
I love this chair! Great, simple, practical, good-looking design. You should make a matching coffee table for it. Legs just like the chair's legs, tabletop that sticks out over the legs, maybe some kind of edging on the ends. Maybe carve out some circles and fill them with resin to make places to set drinks, like built-in coasters. Maybe make the top with gaps like the seat of the chair, but fill them with clear resin so they still look like gaps, but nothing falls through them.
I would add a wing of some kind on the arm rests , love your videos. Your videos honestly helped start my whole woodworking journey years ago! Thank you!
I think it's a great idea to make videos that kind of connect! You can do the backyard set, the kids room set, master bedroom set, etc. Keep up the great videos!
Wow bro where have you been? I doubt if you have been posting because haven't seen your videos for a long time. I have made reading tables for me, nephews and nieces. Also i made two wardrobes just by watching your videos from Nigeria. Thanks alot bro and one love from Naija
Glad to see you doing great. Great video, love it. You could have incorporated a cup holder hole to the legs, something to add if you want to expand it to a sectional. Which will be a great idea
Two chairs of this type, a two-seater couch style and a tv stand/multimedia center would round out a den/entertainment room.Maybe incorporate a way to mount the tv with the console. I have used a simple stained 2x4 in the past. Great build as always. Glad to see you back.
Awesome result! And I would suggest in the next version if you could slant the back as that would make it more comfortable. And since you're using tenons it's quite easy to drill them in a different location to allow for the slanted back. Can't wait to see this paired up with a footstool as well. Proper relaxing combo. 😊
Had my doubts when I saw all those blocky modules but the finished product is great. The two colors change the look dramatically and the cushions are a nice touch of comfort. Well done!
Goodness, I missed this man. I didn't understand what Glen was saying when he was explaining the kind of seat he was making. But when I saw the seat, I didn't care. I loved it. The two-tone is fantastic. 💡 TIP. 💡 If you leave steel wool in vinegar I think overnight or for 48 hours, it gives you a colour similar OR CLOSE TO the iron ore colour used in the video.
Missed your content, Glen. Great to see you doing well after what happened a few years ago. Chair looks amazing! Maybe a bit of an angle on the backrest would increase comfort even more. Armrests, perhaps? Love it though! Stay strong, bro
I like the concept here. I wondered about how you might have been able to add some type of a cup holder to this chair? Maybe something that could have been hidden under the leg area when not in use.
Amazing work, my mom and my stepdad was amazing with work like this, may they rest in peace ❤ i work with them as i got older, have a real love for handy work, you can imagine what you want and just make it happen is a gift of god 💞💃🏼
Awesome stuff once again, creating and giving great life advice. I think an L-shape sectional with a planter in the L-corner between the two would look awesome. Or just the sectional. Love, love, love the contrasting colors. Blessings.
I love this chair I love the two tone of the stain and the painted color it's a really beautiful chair 🪑 I can't wait to see what you make next take care and God bless
Thanks you for the video. I always enjoy your content! This was a great idea and can't wait to see what other furniture piece would go with this. How about a cantilever side table for an accent piece
Great to see you back posting content again. My thoughts are since we got the chair, why not the sectional and the planter or maybe a coffee table. I'd love to challenge you to see if you could make a sun shade.
Really excited you are making videos again. You truly create some of the most unique pieces out. Thanks for sharing.
Been watching your content for years and missed you while you were gone. Im glad to see you back and am excited to see you you create. You are an inspiration.
“ it doesn’t matter how you get there, just get there
“. Epic my man !!!! That can do attitude 👍👍👍👍🐒🐒🐒
Nice
Gorgeous build!! Don't sweat the videos, make sure you and your family are good, that's the important part. We will always be here.
What! No LED lighting, you're slacking Glen 😛 Great build and easy to follow too. Keep it up please.
Love what you created and the fact that you can break it down and take it with you also easy storage when moving . Love it ! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! Yes! it's a nice feature.
Thanks for coming back. You have the best DIY channel I have come across. You are truly a wonderful teacher and I have learned so much. If ever you get a chance, can you show us an L. Shaped desk build , which I want to create for my office. Love your style.
Cool design & love the 2 tone look. Would be nice to see you continue with more to go with this series.
I wish I could make this for my patio. I need to learn to use a saw and drill first lol

I know you've been through a lot. Coming back stronger, brother. Love from Indonesia.
Missed your videos!
I would love to see a side table, or maybe the section like you mentioned. Love the channel.

I love that chair! I want a set for my apartment! A pull out sectional or couch would be amazing.

A sectional and coffee table would be awesome to see. Definitely liked how the projected turned out

I love it. I'm imagining the legs sticking out further, far enough to make room to sit a glass or cup on. Love the color choice too.
I can see a couple of these on my deck this summer. Good to see you!

Great job brother. Good to see you back in action, been hoping and praying you'd come back. Hope everything is going much better now. Can't wait until the next one.
That two tone colour looks awesome and the satin finish gives it a very modern look.
Welcome back Glen.
It's good to have you back!

Duuuuude!! Love the chair and the two idea maybe a matching raised little doggie sofa would be cool!

I enjoy watching you use simple techniques and materials. Your execution is flawless.
I love the modern look use of wood here - it’s got a Rietveld chair kin vibe without being too formal.
Dude I’m building my confidence to build my entire kitche, living room & bedroom sets…..
Watching this channel I’m working on my floating bed now….

Thank you!
It looks great! I like the sectional and planter idea. I'd love to see a matching coffee table or end table too.
Glad to see you doing great.
Great video, love it. You could have incorporated a cup holder hole to the legs, something to add if you want to expand it to a sectional. Which will be a great idea
Great video, glad your back! Praying for you brother!! Blessings!!!

Very nice, love the color choices. One suggestion, maybe a table that fits with the style. Wonder work.
Thanks!
Keep on trucking. Love your content.
Thank you :)
Just come across the two videos for bench and chairs. So glad you're making content again. Love it Glen. Keep up the good work..❤
No matter how long of a break between videos you take. I'll always stay subbed and have the notifications on. Love your content!

💡 TIP. 💡
If you leave steel wool in vinegar I think overnight or for 48 hours, it gives you a colour similar OR CLOSE TO the iron ore colour used in the video.
Haha thanks! I may have to check that tip out. I'm not familiar with it.
Happy to see your return! I've been a follower for years, eagerly anticipating the cut list to create my version of this chair.
Good to see you back
Keep going!!!!!!
The chair legs look like they would be awesome book shelves (if this was used in side). Thanks for showing this build! Awesome as always.
I glad to see you again. I like your type, smart innovator.
Clean design and sturdy construction. Can’t wait to see the complementary pieces. Side table comes to mind.
Thank you. Looking forward to some other pieces as well.

Interesting 😅
@@DIYCreators We ended up buying curtains and a small heater, the Goodwill has a lot of nice products.
Very interesting. How I want to start some woodwork now. How can you direct me to get the right machines for a beginner
Nice to see you back mate.

I LOVE THE CHAIRS!!

I like the concept here. I wondered about how you might have been able to add some type of a cup holder to this chair? Maybe something that could have been hidden under the leg area when not in use.

Two tone planter would be great and just in time for spring gardening season
Great to be watching your videos again. Welcome back!
Brother you created a simple style that jumps!
It looks cool AF but I have to doubt how comfortable it really is.
Great job. Easy to bulid with some spare woods.
Yes please for a series like this.
Thanks you for the video. I always enjoy your content! This was a great idea and can't wait to see what other furniture piece would go with this.
How about a cantilever side table for an accent piece
