I usually feel kind of crummy after the shots. You resemble Phoebe so much without your bangs!! I love that look! Fall is finally here but really late, like you all are experiencing!
That is one scarey but impressive looking fungi. Hope you are coping well with the covid jab and will be much better tomorrow. When I had my jabs, both the primary and the boosters, my arm hurt so bad, and I was unusually hungry and sleepy . Enjoy the Uni trip. I bet Lilia is very much looking forward to it. Take care.

Morning Ali, your video arrived as I was going to bed but as I cannot get to sleep I am now watching it a 03. 59am . I came down for a drink and some paracetamol as I started with a lurgy on Friday, Its the first time I've been struck down since pre lockdown. My head is fit to burst but you are a nice distraction. Hope you get over your jabs soon. I don't think its a good idea to have both at the same time, I'm going to try and avoid it if I can.
I have one of those line a day diaries but have procrastinated starting it because I don’t know what to write!
Oh Ali, so sorry you’re feeling so unwell and hope you’re feeling so much better. Gayna is having fringe-gate too is wearing a hairband which looks good. It was seven degrees yesterday in the north east of Scotland so I was quite happy! Take care xx

Its kind of wierd, I’m growing out my fringe 😊. Been busy for a couple of weeks.
I do wear my hair up mostly but now and then it hangs down. When its colder otherwise you can bake an egg on me 😂.
Enjoy Mia, through the years i have had so many cats, absolutely love them.
I have a foto of our daughter( now 23) she was then 5 , she is sat with her arms crossed, scowling away. We still brought them , something for her wedding day😂.

Growing out hair is so frustrating. Getting there is half the battle. I just loved going away with my daughters when we were looking at universities for them. Always a great time. I’ve really been enjoying the vlogs.

Happy to read you are feeling better. I will have my jabs soon (but not on the same day). With your hair behind your eyes Phoebe and you look so much alike! Hope you can share a bit of the university visit. Always interested because of the differences in the school system. My son starts his orientation this year and it's so much fun to see all kinds of universities.

Have just read the comment you're feeling better which is good. I had a similar reaction to my c-vaccine - apparently a sign of a fighting fit immune system so that's reassuring! Couple of book recommendations - just finished "The Old Haunts" by Allan Radcliffe - a short, debut novel set in Scotland, takes in coming out in the 90s and death of parents. Beautifully written. Also, just started The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Bandanna - excellent so far! Also Dan's "You have lovely smile Phoebe"...so sweet. I'm always saying to mine "show your teeth"! 🤣
Oh, Ali! I can so sympathize with you about post-shot impact. I had 3 Thursday! Needless to say, I wasn’t able to get off the bed/sofa until Saturday AM😴. Feeling much better now & hoping they work this winter as I’ll be traveling a lot.

Hope you are feeling better! I did my Covid shot on Thursday, started feeling poorly about 8 hours after and that lasted about 30 hours. Good news it’s done!

Hope you're feeling better now, when I had the covid jab I was pole axed for 24 hrs and didn't feel good for a few days, my cousin on the other hand doesn't have any after effects at all. 😅 Love Mia, I love it when Sir Radley purrs, or any at purrs for that after, best sound ever. I actually knitted sweaters for four moulting chickens. They belonged to a friend and she asked if I could knit these chicken sweaters. I'm not so sure if the sweaters helped them but they looked so cool in them. Feel better!

Ali, I love the description of Lillea sleeping! I always think it is funny how the kids can flop around so much. I always thought sleeping with Destiny was also like sleeping with a furnace. And when she was really little, she used to wind up sideways with her feet in my ribs. I hope you get over your jab bug soon. 💗And if it makes you feel better, my sister also says her sister is a weirdo. 🤣
Funny. Watching this from middle USA, and because of the accent I wonder where this is being filmed, and it's day 5 or 6 of some holiday doesn't sound familiar, but I looked up what holiday it is right now and coming up is Simchat Torah so I don't know that's what it sounded like but perhaps if I listen longer you'll explain; the fungus doesn't look familiar, but the gray squirrel does, and that cat does (ours is a ginger marmalade), and so is the reaction to the flu shot, since I had both it and COVID in my left shoulder yesterday and it's a bit achy, and then I realize that since you're fixing the shoulder safety belt of your car you must be in the UK. It's chilly here in middle USA, with a high in the 70s (21 c) and low in 50s (10 c) and it was cold last night so that I got a chill in my neck and have had to run around all day with a scarf to keep the cramp less painful. The audio suddenly went away so am using closed captions and cannot hear your lovely accent.
Hope by now Sunday the vaccinations soreness sniffles have improved 🥰
Borrowbox for me isn’t brilliant either. Any ebook or audiobook I’m looking for never seems to be on the service. I wanted to use it to read Terry Pratchett’s Discworld because I thought it would be easier and certainly cheaper than purchasing a copy of every instalment, but they’re not available. I’m rather annoyed with it as my library system doesn’t have all of the physical copies either.

About a week or so ago, you had posted a picture of Mia and said something like "Thanks for picking us as a second family", or something like that. And I was so worried that Mia had passed. So I'm so glad to see her in the vlogs!!!! We own a cat and I feel the same as you, I hate cat fur on the bed... My husband doesn't care at all about it. Hope you're all feeling better by now! Wanted to let you know that you inspired me to cook the other day, and I made that pasta+veggies+tuna+grated cheese dish, twice! It is so yummy. The Captain is also my favourite character from Ghosts. He's also very yummy xD I watched ep 1 and am saving the other 5 for tomorrow, pacing myself because... until the Christmas special... there will be no more ghosts *cries*. Got a question: without revealing anything sensitive, can you tell us what kind of work you do in your job? I know it is a museum but it seems odd that you're only requiered to go once a week (odd or just ideal, ha!). Do you share that position with someone else who works there the rest of the week? xx

When I had Covid last year I was absolutely starving for 24 hours before getting symptoms. I’m guessing your jab brought about a similar result. Hope you’re feeling better today
Flu vaccine side effects are real! I had my covid and flu and was down for the count for a week! Feel better!
