I heard this yesterday and was literally hyper all day like I drank cotton candy infused soda. The serotonin in my brain was at an all time high. The love never dies, just grows and grows like Jack's beanstalk only when you get to the top you realize the giant above is also listening to the new Fratellis song. It tames my I hate mornings beastly personality as well. It's the cure for road rage, sad days, I hate the world days, work is a dungeon days, and so many of your other types of pain. How can you go wrong, you can't and that's the beauty of the Fratellis.

I’m newer to the Fratellis, having re-discovered them eight years after first hearing their music. I was on a long flight home to Washington State from Washington DC, feeling a bit deflated because my husband (from Dundee) and I could not sit together. I put my headphones on, played one of my old playlists, rediscovered the Fratellis, bought the airplane WiFi, went on to TH-cam, and suddenly, the plane ride went from six hours long to feeling all too short! The band kept me great company. It was intriguing to listen to the musical evolution of their style from the mid-oughts to the present. I wonder what is next! Experimenting is what keeps one alive. I would be very curious if they ever tried a new song influenced by modern Hawaiian music…

I was going back through their discography again today to check out some songs I could take or leave and see if any have gotten better, when I checked to see that this was uploaded and now this might be one of my favorite songs by them
It's funny how my relationship with their music has changed over time. I used to listen to the albums in full on repeat now I feel like their albums are split into two types of songs: "eh" and "absolutely fantastic".
