We Filipinos, when we see our guests enjoying our food, we just keep on giving you more. That's why when I go to somebody else's house and they see me enjoying and appreciating their food and just when I thought I'm done eating they just keep bringing out more food and urging me to eat more lol.
I worked in Daly City as a cable technician for a couple years, for people who don't know, Daly city is like the manila of the west coast, largest Filipino population in United states something like that. well anyways every time I would go in a Filipino persons house, it was always "its time to eat" I would eat so many delicious Filipino foods and deserts, I was good and fat in those days, these foods remind me of those times.... enjoy!

It is called lumpia without the 'ng'. Which in Malaysia or Singapore here we call it popiah or spring rolls. Lumpia is being used in Indonesia as well.
It is actually also called lumpia. 'ng' is sort of like a conjunction added to further specify something. Example: Maganda = Beautiful. Magandang babae = Beautiful girl. Btw, I am Indonesian / Singaporean PR who worked for almost 5 years in PH. Pancit and lumpia are definitely my 2 favourites. Likewise to popiah ! 😋

I am glad you liked Pancit Malabon. My late dad was from Malabon, and I grew up eating Pancit Malabon. It's one of the more special of the pancit varieties we have in the Philippines. Not so many can make good Pancit Malabon. It is also different from most of the other pancit dishes we have because it has more seafood toppings since Malabon is by the bay and near the Navotas fish port. It also used to have lots of fish ponds for fish and shrimp raising.
When Zermatt said that it was going to be a "7KG Pancit Canton Eating Challenge", I had no doubt he was going to finish it easily.😄 I had seen Zermatt eating 10 KG of food all by himself. This guy's stomach seems to be bottomless. Enjoy your trip in Japan, Zermatt! Thanks for sharing.

Add chilli sauce in the pancit is so good!! When you add the calamansi lime then add up any kind of chilli sauce! Its so good!!
