Thank you. Gearbox £100, Conversion kit £350, Propshaft including modifications £150, Clutch pedal and hydraulics £150. Clutch and flywheel £300. plus some little bits like fluids etc. I think that's it really. Just About £1100 I think
Hey mate looking into doing the same thing with a gx100 witch come factory with the 1gfe beams do you know if the j160 out of a altezza would bolt strait to that and what crossmember ect? Just can’t find anything on forms though you might have some sort of a idea
do you know if the r154 works on the 1jz ge engine, like do the bolt pattern match from the bell housing to the engine of a grande, i have the same exact car and im planning on manual swap, engine swap and a bunch of other upgrades, thank you
@@GeorgeHampl cool going do the same sway as that myself and was wondering if I needed to grab them from the is200 .. il look around for some jzx stuff.. Good videos man keep up the good work
Did you use a wiring schematic to figure out which wires to connect for the neutral switch? Did you just tie the rest of the wires up and out of the way after that? I’ll be tackling a manual swap at the end of the year
No diagram. The two neutral switch wires that need connecting are the only two that have bigger connectors within the neutral switch plug. Hope that makes sense. This applies to all rwd Toyotas of the same era. Rest I just tucked away as you said.
I bought the conversion kit from MCL autoworx. The design been sold to Crest Motorsport who now sells it. You just have to split the gearbox and put the modified bell housing on. If you look at my previous videos there is detailed guide.
@@GeorgeHampl thanks for replying so soon! So I've got a friend who 1jzgte vvti converted his gx90, brilliant build and he uses a j160 but he said a modified 3sge flywheel can work if the holes were brought out 4mm which is exactly what he did, but he said he tried a w58 flywheel and it didn't work :/
@@sillycargarage3262 I am not familiar with the 3s flywheel but I know people use it. I am guessing it all depends on what J160 conversion kit is used. This kit is designed to be used with the JZ W58 fly and clutch kit. There are two W58 flywheels. One for the JZ and other for the 7M engine and they are different.
@@GeorgeHampl are you using a factory size 235mm flywheel or the aftermarket 10 inch/250mm version? That may be where the fitment issue lies potentially. Factory size may work but aftermarket may not
Got a question I have purchased the new kit with the trans bell housing and shaft adapter Any info on how the direction of the install goes with the Bering and fork
Great content. Your channel needs more virws. More videos as well, but you definitely deserve more views.
Thank you. I am working on it!

1gfe came stock with j160 at least in europe so you should be sound
could you tell me did you have to vut the tunnel for the shifter in the end
Im planning on getting a cheap jzx100 how much would this cost me on the cheap?
Similar to the IS300 just some extra cost for custom prop, pedals are generally more expensive.

Yes it does. The block is basically the same
Is the handbrake from an is200 or a gs300? I can't seem to find a gs300 one
MK3 supra
Do you think this would work on my Tourer V? And if so do you think you could leave a parts list in the description so I know what to buy?
You will need custome prop
Is the master cylinder and pedal from is200 also?
No, JZX100

did you splice in the speedo wires? if so, which ones?
also, what about the reverse lights?
Did anyone get answers to this?
what bodykit is that?
I dont think you explained which fly wheel you used with the j160 clutch????
Sorry mate. With this conversion kit its W58 clutch and flywheel.

did you upgrade the differential or used to the same diff which came with the automatic transmission

Where did you get the conversion kit? Did you have to cut the is200 gearbox or did it just bolt on?

Does the speedometer work after the swap?
Yes
Apparently the w58 flywheel actually won't work with this, so how did you manage to make it work?
Hello mate. You have wrong information. The JZ W58 works. What are you trying to do? And who told you that?
