Such a very sad day when this brilliant man passed away....he was so badly treated with all sorts of rumours going around that he was involved in child abuse! This eventually became the start of his health problems and his mental state... It was horrifying to see him so upset...it eventually broke his spirit and he became a recluse. He was the genuine gentleman who made us all laugh so much....there will never be another Freddie... But he lives on as we watch him at his best....with his pal Des...hoping that your both laughing still up in Heaven! Will never forget you Freddie! X

Can think the rise of the internet for that. Hundreds of channels on normal TV, Netflix, Disney+, TH-cam… Quantity doesn’t mean quality - Entertainment was FAR better when we had four or five TV channels. The BBC and ITV only had one another to compete with, so were always on their A game. They’re now competing with far too many different sources of viewing, and due to that the quality has taken a massive dive. It’s no wonder that shows like Strictly and other reality shows seem to be their big hitters nowadays - they’re cheap and easy to produce.
Just switched off UK rubbish Saturday night TV and watched this here on you tube pure class
