i was just looking for cocktails online and stumbled upon this video. VERY well put together and enjoyable! I'm sos sorry to hear about this sweet bird. may she RIP along with my own babies, disney and pixar. Sending love
I used to watch your video over and over back in 2007! I thought I'd watch it again and saw your message. My condolences on your loss. even if it's been 8 years, you still miss them! I had a bird die that I was attached to (it was born crippled so I had to handfeed him) he lived for 16 mos but died on 12/23/2010. I laid him to rest under a bush on Xmas Eve... :(
it's actually a rubber rat on top of the fridge. I had to get rid of it recently because the birds had shat on it so much, I couldn't clean it off. and they'd slowly amputated its ears.
This video has been on TH-cam for more than three years. And I am continually amused by the constant emails accusing me of mistreating my birds. The bald bird is very happy. In fact, she doesn't pluck her own feathers out. (How could she? We're talking about the top of her head.) She and her mate pluck each other daily. They seem to love it, and when I separate them to prevent this, THEN they are sad.
This was the first song I taught my cockatiel to sing also lol. My son has taught him too many songs so now he confuses them and mixes all the songs together. It's too bad Robin has become one with the force now, I'm sure she will be missed :(
I love the way you put this together. Don't know how you blended them and got the timing so right. Love your ending with the little bald headed cockatiel. Does look a bit like darth vader.
I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes!! Sorry you lost Robin. I lost Jonnie 10 years ago. You never forget the bond of happy times together-NEVER. Thanks 4 sharing her life with us.
If that's what you desire, the answer to your problem is very simple. Buy a "cockatoo"! Their lifetime is easily if well cared for, 80 + years. But be warned! They're the worst challenging of all parrot species from parakeets to the hyacinth macaw to tame and train. They all act very lovingly even to strangers. They come to you to show their love. Want you to scratch their heads, rub them on their backs, scratch behind their necks, BUT, you're in for a surprize. You've fallen right into their trap! Just when you start to think, "Oh, what a beautiful, cute and lovingly bird I've bought.", You'll receive an unexpected powerful bite that'll leave oh, such a beautiful huge scar. They're the greatest deceivers of all parrots.
@birdsrule66 We started with a mated pair and they have had two clutches that successfully hatched, a total of five children. Our birds live in a large cage, which is actually a cat cage that I outfitted with branches and perches. They also get indoor flight time.
Thank You! Thanks for putting the work into it, with the one on the dinosaur toy, and especially the fight scene! I will now play this 10 times a day to my quakers. Video reply coming soon.... I hope.
Can't believe we posted this 12 years ago, and Robin the bald bird died 8 years ago. Hawk, another cockatiel who appears but does not whistle, also died about 2 years ago. The other 5 birds are all still kicking, and all approaching 20 years old.
that was actually well done, I am about to upload my cockatiel Ash ringing and he has been very interesting hearing all these other talented cockatiels hopefully he will mimick them too
you have to get them when they are very young and play with them a lot, feed them by hand, let them sit on your shoulder, etc. If you treat them well they are very friendly.
I swear, I almost jizzed when the bird started whistling. That is the coolest thing. I'm so sorry that you lost the tiel, it's heartbreaking. I understand :[ I lost 15 cockatiels and parakeets all at once.
Just adorable! But, I am so saddened that Robin has died ~ a little late, I know, since this was from 2008. I sure you got her mate, Stan another one to love. I lost my female, and my male was so depressed, he finally stopped eating, and died, too. I have another pair now, and my male, Bodie whistles the Andy of Mayberry theme, and he loves when I play all the other videos I've downloaded. Hope you have a really nice pair now. Feathergirl48
My roommate: Oh, wait, this is the Darth Vader song. I thought they were going to sing the opening fanfare. Me: Nope. These aren't the birds you're looking for.
very nice job on this video, well done! I really enjoyed watching it. I have my own cockatiel but it's cool to have some entertainment on something I admire and enjoy! :)
I am sorry for your loss. We've lost 'tiels also, so understand that. We have seven birds now ourselves, three cockatiels and four budgies. Of them, Maui likes to whistle the Imperial March as well, and I have recordings of him doing so.
@Megtunes i own 6 cockatiels myself and i couldnt imagine life without them all, they all have there own personality and cockatiels are so intelligent, you can see them thinking sometimes they are amazing pets
@ryfleman so sorry about robin,i have 6 cockatiels myself and they are such wonderful birds to watch and have great characters,i hope stan is coping ok.i am hoping to get a yellow cockatiel as i would like to breed it with 1 of my cockatiels, great video by the way xx
This is one cool tune you taught your bird. I'm trying with my Green Cheek Conure to get him to whistle "Another One Bites the Dust" but I'm not the best whistler & Ernie isn't a whistler, he's a talker. My aunt taught her 'tiel to whistle La Cucaracha & the Simpsons' theme song.
OMG that is tooooo funny. Love the bird whistling the music. I sincerely hope you didn't pluck one of your babies to look like darth w/out his helmet. Ha ha ha hilarious and well done.
Thanks. I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into that comment. You are sage and wise. From now on, whenever I post new videos, I shall submit them to you for approval first, knowing that your keen sense of what is not "lame as hell" shall serve as a beacon of not-lame-as-hellness, in hopes that all my contributions to the TH-cam nation shall uplift, inform, and inspire. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Omg this has been out so long I remember watching this when i was little.
An Anime Doge I didn’t even exist

If only Star Wars had cockatiels

That last part, "parrot vader without his mask", I lost it there.
I think this is a wonderful tribute to your Robin! I am sorry for your loss , she obviously had a wonderful home with you. Thank you for sharing! :)
are you still alive
R.I.P LITTLE COCKATIEL BIRD
I will never get tired of this, Steve.
it's actually a rubber rat on top of the fridge. I had to get rid of it recently because the birds had shat on it so much, I couldn't clean it off. and they'd slowly amputated its ears.

Holy crap when I was like 7 or 8 I thought was the funniest thing ever, I’m 20 years old now and I want to revisit this.

This video was used to teach my tiel the same song!
Love Luke yelling "Noooo' and the Evil Vader bird at the end!
Nicely edited vid!
Thank you for standing up for my cockatiels, but let's keep the four letter words out of it, please. My cockatiels are tender young souls.
This was the first song I taught my cockatiel to sing also lol. My son has taught him too many songs so now he confuses them and mixes all the songs together. It's too bad Robin has become one with the force now, I'm sure she will be missed :(
I love the cockatiel singing the darth vader song!!$
It’s actually the leitmotif to represent the empire as a whole, rather than just vader
Max Of the 212th I wrote this comment 5 years ago and I would like to thank you for replying
I love what you did with the clips!
showed this to my bird and he freaked out

I love the way you put this together. Don't know how you blended them and got the timing so right. Love your ending with the little bald headed cockatiel. Does look a bit like darth vader.

I wish I had a bird that could out live me so I wouldn't have to see it die.

Great video. Loved the camerawork and some of the shots of the birds flying around.
Sorry to her about your bird as I have an old cockatiel myself. Your video is very creative and you kept it short and interesting.
I'm sorry for your loss... I lost my tiel March 26. Its the hardest thing in the world... I'm sure she had the best life she could possibly have.
Very cute! Even the baby is an actor! Adorable!!!
This is... quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, or ever will see. You obviously have too much time on your hands. I love it.
Your birds are so frickin' cute! Wishes I could pet them!
SOOO LOVE it! My Rambo needs some lessons here! XD I love your video!! Your mv video!

that was a great compilation all around and nice footage blending with the birds and star wars images.
Five Stars! You did a great job on this video! The birds are good actors. :)
I love it and I keep coming back for more! Can't get enough of it so I trained my cockatiel to sing the same tune and he sings it everyday now!
that was actually well done, I am about to upload my cockatiel Ash ringing and he has been very interesting hearing all these other talented cockatiels hopefully he will mimick them too
