When I played this as a kid, I always loved how they can keep up with Sonic's speed. But I was baffled when Amy could move just as fast. Until I heard that she could only keep up with him because of chasing after him for so long. Which sounds both cute and terrifying.
@@AsianRailgun nope, all of the Speed characters have the same speed and acceleration, which means the best team to do the Special stages is team rose because the controls in Sonic Heroes are slippery as hell, and the Special stages sucks because It makes them even worse and you have to Chase the stupid UFO while having to gain speed and try to Control the characters with the most broken speed i've ever seen, and since Team Rose is easy mode and their stages are the shortest out of the 4 teams, you get less tortured by getting the chaos emeralds with them and Will take less time to retry them than with the other characters. As Far as I'm aware team Sonic is normal difficult, and team Dark is hard difficult. They take more time to complete stages and gets more hazards than team rose, so get the emeralds with team rose, Its easier.

I got Sonic Heroes Christmas morning of 2006 for my GameCube and it was the one time my parents let me and my big brother open presents really early so I pretty much played it from like 7am to maybe 8:30. PM Problem is I never bought a memory card so in the handful of hours I took a break I had to start over
Back in 2011 Sonic Heroes already felt retro and outdated when it released 8 years before but Sonic Generations still feels brand new even though it came out 10 years ago.

Actually I'm pretty sure in this game Amy has slower speed, which is why for special stages it's better to do Team Sonic/Dark.
