That's actually a really good radio the six channel is the one i have and the range and response is amazing. I changed all my transmitters to the dumbo rc
Yes, the Dumbo radio has surprised me its great for the cost.

and 4400kv motor this speed is on 2s so very fast 1/16 scale wheelies like crazy i only upgraded the motor not the esc
Nice vid so far you're the only one I've seen on here thats upgraded the q901. I manage to get hold of a motor and esc off of Amazon. Same spec... so having done the installation I managed to take it for a test run and noticed its noticeably faster especially with a 3s 1500 45c but also has a lot more rattle. I did grease up the diffs before putting it back together but cant help but wonder if I've done something wrong or is it just supposed to be like that. Watching your video your rig is so much more quieter.... any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks! You should have a little more rattle when you roll it on the floor but that should be all. Under load it should be fairly quite. Did you get the set screw all the way tight in the pinion gear? It could be sticking up making your gear sound noisy. Also the back diff cover was a little weird to get back on right if I remember. I'm thinking the bumper was in the wrong area holding it up but other than that it went together great. Good luck with yours.

I have no experience with the HBX. but the xinlehongQ901 is just about unbreakable. I love it only broke a wheelie bar from a bad landing on concrete.

I've got a good question for you Sir, I just found a used but never ran aquacraft minimono on eBay. But doesn't come with the Rx/Tx . Any recommendations on what 2 channel 2 use ??? Hi John! Thanks for the nice comment. Honestly this Dumbo Rc radio is awesome for $26.00 it's got mega range only downside is it's not waterproof. But some Corosion X would fix that or a baloon. I've got it linked in the description. Or if you could find a deal on a DXE 2 on ebay or somewhere, that's a decent marine radio as well. The mini e-revo is a bad dude you'll love it.

Hi there , the shock are plug & play? is there any issue "click sound" or else when turn left/right? I use q902.
Yes they work direct fit, reuse the plastic bushing though. No click sound in mine.
