An unfiltered look into my brain at the moment, mostly a therapeutic session for me to get things off my chest. This time I discuss the hardest part of my treatment so far and my wedding anniversary.

This made me cry...Thank you for opening up to us and transparently sharing your journey. As someone currently on the path of a career in oncology, seeing things through the lens of the patient reminds me why I'm doing what I do...why I strive to be the type of doctor who helps people like you get through one of the most challenging experiences of your life. To provide the tools, the technology, the treatment -- and most importantly -- the unwavering support that you need to get to the other side of this. I am from a small town in Illinois & have been married 41 years and I can promise you that if you keep united in your faith, regardless how hard the detours will be in the end you & your wife marriage will only grow stronger than u can even imagine - it’s clear you have everlasting love for ur wife & I’m sure she feels the same for you & as long as you both remain united u will over come the unfortunate hand you were dealt - so keep your faith and our family is sending you and your wife prayers-
