Tornado watch means to keep an eye on the weather. Warning means it's coming take cover. Warning is the worst. I'm in Alabama we deal with tornadoes all the time. I'm glad you all weathered this safely
The little Honda generator I have can support the refrigerator, a deep freezer, a couple of fans, a light, and a couple of phone chargers. Pretty much essential to have in Florida!
Robert Hicks Definitely, you can tell he does a lot of stuff for us and also stuff him and his wife truly enjoy. Sometimes he'll do something just to give people an idea of what they'll be dealing with like the distance between the onsite hotels at Universal and how long they take to get to Universal Studios for HHN. He doesn't have to go out of his way for that stuff but does it because their fan base continues to grow and he's constantly asked questions he either can answer or will find the answers for as well as Jen. They both work hard when it comes to TH-cam, stuff like this isn't easy especially when it comes to vlogs..
Glad you are safe. As a Canadian living in Toronto, Ontario Canada our hydro company is sending 500 workers to help restore hydro. We also sent lumber and building supplies + tools to help rebuild Miami & Orlando.
I live in Oklahoma in tornado alley. A watch means a tornadoes can develop. A warning means a tornado has been spotted. That was so nice of her to let you use her generator. I know that makes a big difference. So glad you two are okay. Thanks for sharing your hurricane experience with us. I have never been in one. Love you both!
Tornado Warning = More severe. Tornado spotted on the ground or radar indicated. Tornado watch = conditions are favorable for tornado development. Midwest 101. lol
The spin the atmosphere spawns little tornadoes very easily in hurricanes. We usually see them with monster cold fronts clashing with warm unstable air, that come through in the spring. Trust me you don't want to see one! lol
Hats off to Christina for sharing her generator! Glad everything is okay for the 3 of you now! My family down in West Palm Beach made it through okay as well, but the anxiety was horrid.
Tim and Jen are the nicest people ever, saw them a few times at universal and didn't hesitate to interact with us and be very polite, let us take a picture or two with them! Very nice!
very glad to see you kids! i went thru heck at a shelter with 2000 people! and got back to no power till a hour ago! very happy to see you kids made it ok!!!!!
Glad to see you guys are okay! Watching this makes me really thankful that hurricanes never occur where I live. Sorry your backyard went crazy but glad to see no really harmful things happened!
Watching this, reliving Irma, actually gave my anxiety. I live in Orlando too so when Irma shifted, I went into the closet and listened to music because our door was shaking like crazy even before the eyewall slammed us. I thought the door was gonna fly off, allowing the wind to come in and suck our roof right off! The power was off for about 3 days and we still have a lot of yard work to do. Thankfully, we didn't suffer any major damage!
Glad you're ok. That's what I meant when I commented on having a generator! We had hurricane George go right over us in 1998, it was a cat-3 and the eye went right smack over top of us, that was sep.22, we didn't gat power until November! So NEVER again are we going through that. BTW give your pool a shock treatment and connect your garden hose to your pool pump and turn the valve to on, SHUT OFF the water main to your house and use the generator to run your pump and pump water to toilets, sinks and shower. At least for a while you can take care of a few things. Just be sure to close the main to the house so the water doesn't just drain away to the municipal pipes.
Watching after your Elsa update, so much has changed I think this was right before I started following along. I could not go through this how frightening just waiting it out
I came here today because I love you two but also, I figured you'd have something on hurricane stuff/preparedness and all that storm jazz, lol. I remember Irma as it was supposed to hit where I am (Sarasota) but turned away at the very last minute and veered towards Central FL. Now that Dorian is out there - currently as Cat 3 - my husband & I are preparing as much as we can. Of course, you know as well as we do that these things can change on a dime and right now the models re allllll over the place. Just stay safe and do what you can. That's what we're doing too. Watching your videos helps calm our anxiety, lol. I know that sounds wacky but it's true. We love watching you guys on any random night when things are normal and there's no storm! But it's a great soother when we're all kerbobbled as well. Cornball, but true. Much love! :)
Welcome back Tim, Jen and Bandit! I'm just so glad you were safe. I've been checking for your vlog and it was so good to see one there this morning! Sending love out to all those affected xx
So glad you guys are doing OK, we've missed our daily dose of Tim & Jenn! You handled the hurricane brilliantly , I would have been a wreck. So kind of someone to lend you a generator, hope you get power soon. Lovely to see you back ! ☺
Having gone through Katrina I know exactly how you feel. Thanks for being so positive in times like this. Praying for you both and all those effected by the storm!
Thank you guys so much for thanking the lineman! They spend so much time working to get the power back on. My dad is a lineman and they make him work in storms all the time. Most people aren't so understanding! Glad y'all are safe!
Buddy I’m moving to Florida great tips. I really feel you have taught me everything I need to know in order to survive a hurricane. You and Jen are the greatest!
WOO! Us Floridians know what's up when hurricanes strike, I'm glad to hear you guys are safe! :) My mom's in Ft. Myers, and her house had a minor roof breech as well as surge flooding (was a foot at it's highest inside the house), plus two doors were ripped off. Power is still off as of this morning, but generators are around, so at least there's that... But hey, everyone on my end is safe too, so WOO HOO! I'm happy to see you guys are safe with minimal/no damages, much love to both of you! :)
Glad everyone is safe! Thanks for filming The way you did (before, during, and after). Taking us on the full hurricane journey while you and Jen mentally prepared and got situated in the house was stressful just watching. I can't imagine having to go through it. 💓
I'm so glad you guys are safe! The hurricane forecasts were SO wrong up until the last minute. It was originally going to directly hit Miami (where I live) but at last minute it changed coasts. So hopefully in the future, hurricane predictions can be more accurate
Yes if only mother nature wouldn't change what it is going to do at the last minute. It's like geez it's only supposed to follow the one course that is a possibility.
SIX days here without power during the storm. We did have to leave and go to a hotel once during that time just to take a hot shower. Glad you guys are safe. And a generator is a WONDERFUL thing to have. How nice of that friend to loan you theirs. I don't think we could have ever prepared enough for a storm of that magnitude.
I saw the same thing after Hurricane Harvey hit where I live. So happy you all are safe & sound. Thanks for posting this to share your experience & let us know you are okay.
Rewatching this video as Ida comes to hit. Hopefully, I can take some notes of the supplies that you utilized. For those in LA and the Gulf area of MS & AL, my heart goes out to all of yall if you see this message
I loved watching this. It's interesting to see from your perspective. My grandma lives in a little retirement village full of mobile homes in Brooksville. I sat for 24 hrs watching every live feed I could find, from my home in CA. Happy to report she was safe, and her home was fine, but the village took a major hit. Glad you guys are safe and sound!
I hope you guys put the generator in the right spot (outside). Hearing about so many people dying of carbon monoxide poisoning from it. Stay safe! I weathered it out too! In Kissimmee. Need a new screening for the pool and a bunch of shingles flew off. Not too much damage. I guess I was one of the lucky ones not to lose power. Although the other half of my area isn't going to get power again until Sunday :\
Watching this on July 10, 2021!! We came to Florida to visit family after Irma hit in Sept. All the motels were filled with Floridians who were without power!! Sweet Bandit!! Generators are a must!!
Oh lol, it's opposite way around for the tornado watch/warning. Warning is where there is a tornado nearby and a watch is a severe thunderstorm could likely create a tornado. Just FYI lol.
I was on holiday in Orlando at this time. Irma ruined the end of my holiday, to be honest, but I had takeaway food and the TV in my hotel room while the wind and rain were happening outside - the power did cut out for a little bit here and there, and the hotel got minimal damage. Also, I have games on my phone, so I wasn't going to get bored. It was a kinda fun experience, but I didn't sleep much for the whole holiday [I guess I just could adjust to being away from home or being in a different time zone and I was there for 2 weeks] and then I had to fly back to the UK the next day. I went 36 hours with no sleep at all - I tried to nap on the plane, but I couldn't get comfy. I then had to drive home from the airport. Don't drive while tired people it's so dangerous. I think I had a nap once I got back, but I don't remember. I won't be travelling to the USA in storm season again. The main reason I did though was to ride Dragon Challenge before it closed, I'm so glad I did I will miss that coaster. Oh, for anyone wondering what my family were thinking...my dad was afraid I was going to DIE in the storm, no really, my mum said he cried he was going to pay for an early flight to get me home, but I refused. It's not a holiday I will easily forget [I went by myself cuz I wanted to].
Glad you guys are safe. I worked 55 hours straight at the hospital since the hurricane, now that I came home, our power is coming in and out for the past 2 days here and two big trees split and came up from the ground but thankfully they fell away from the house. We're still waiting for clean up. Nothing yet.
This was a very interesting video! As someone who has never been in a hurricane it was very interesting to see what it looks and sounds like and to see how you all prepared. Glad both you all and bandit were ok! Just makes me very glad NM doesn't get storms like this.
I just want to say that I'm glad you guys are ok! I found you guys last year, and your videos have helped me through some tough stuff. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep paying the price!
I'm so, so glad you guys were safe through the storm! What an incredible thing it is that someone from the community offered you their generator like that - I love how everyone has been brought together by this.
So glad it wasn't worse, happy to see your faces again! Saw the convoy of Canadian power trucks on their way from here in Maine so glad they are helping!
Went through Hurricane Irma around Friday here in Miami. So many trees have fallen but thankfully there was no damage to my house. Lost my power for around 3 days though. It was dreadfully hot, but thankfully we were safe. So glad you're both okay and Bandit! ❤️
I love you guys and I am glad your safe but a tornado watch means there could possibly be a tornado but tornado waring means that a tornado was spotted. I know this because I used to live in tornado alley
Glad to hear you are all safe. So relieved to get the notification! I also want to thank Christina for letting Tim and Jenn use the generator. You are awesome!.
Hey Tim it's super cool to watch this vlog because I was 10 miles away from Eye down in Tampa Florida and it's interesting to see what happened to you comparing to what happened to us I love your videos keep them up see you later
Glad you two made it thru Irma. Im in Orlando and it was the scariest night of my life! Lost power for 18 hours and lots of tree debris but lived thru it.
So I get to experience this hurricane twice.... once from my own home & once via the internet & your home. Lol This hurricane was a pain but I got through it you are getting through it until you get real power back. Which I hope you do soon!
I can read the headlines now" man starves to death trying to open camp stove" Lol ! Glad you guys rode it out safe ! During hurricane Sandy, we lived on a small generator and a gas grill ( with a pancake griddle) for 10 days.. Was able to run the fridge, microwave,TV and lights.. Time to pay the price and buy a generator...you are going to need it..weather patterns are only getting worse, year after year.. Hope you get back to normal life soon........
Welcome back Tim and Jan, so glad to hear you guys are safe and other than no power are doing great!! So glad you didn't have any damage either such a blessing!!
I didn't go through this but alot of my family did. Thankfully you and my family are okay! It sucks how florida is such a nice place but gets so much storms I also hate how it randomly rains. but SUPER NICE PLACE!
Welcome back. Glad you guys are safe! We've been watching here in So Cal and can't believe how massive that storm was. Thanks for sharing your experience, it's interesting to see what you do during a hurricane (it seemed very nerve racking.) Here we just have earthquakes and there is no waiting... it just happens! I hope the rest of the season is pretty calm for you guys!
So glad you are all safe and house is in good shape. Hard to be without power. We lost power for 8 days during a freak October snowstorm several years ago. We have a well so had no running water at all. Thankfully we have a fireplace that kept us warm at night. It was an interesting week for sure and I also loved how people helped each other out that week. We now own a generator. You guys did a great job of being prepared and cleaning up!
Watching this back almost 2 years later, and it brings you back. Having loved through Charlie(terrible but during the day), and irma(not as bad as we expected but at night), Irma felt scarier because you couldn’t see anything. There isn’t any feeling worse than when Jim cantore comes to town 😬
Where I am in Orlando, my neighborhood didn't lost power, and the only thing that fell was a tree into the yard, so no house damage. We also got the tornado watches and warnings, and I'm glad you guys were safe!
2 days after hurricane Maria i had 40 days without power and my friend got power this valentines day but glad that u guys are safe!! Keep up the good work
Just for future reference. From someone who lives in tornado alley, A tornado warning means that there is a tornado haha. That is when you need to take cover
Tornado watch means to keep an eye on the weather. Warning means it's coming take cover. Warning is the worst. I'm in Alabama we deal with tornadoes all the time. I'm glad you all weathered this safely
HorrorQueen same
I'm from Illinois... yep I understand those tornado weather too

I'm in Birmingham 😊
living in Tennessee I get tornado warnings quite frequently & when he thought tornado watch was worst, I got worried lol
Idk why this was recommended but it was nice to see how much Tim and Jenn have changed since then, and now they are three ❤
Glad you're safe Tim and Jen! Feels good to see your vlogs again

Missed you guys but glad to see everything was good in context of a hurricane.
wildman19232 ..just curious, where did they go?
Adventures by George my generator can power the whole house if needed. But it takes a lot of gasoline
Nooo i live in central florida plz noo im crying i dont want to die
@@julyssachavez6661 you won’t die.
Tim is one of the only youtubers I know that would vlog and tweet during a hurricane
Joshualmao Ears did too.
Joshualmao my mom dad didn't let me go to Florida I would've went right to the eye of the storm take a metal bat and stand outside
Joshualmao like what I wanted to do in sandy which i got hit by
No there are plenty of them out there that would. I think Tim is the only one that would do it for his viewers and not just for the view count.
Robert Hicks Definitely, you can tell he does a lot of stuff for us and also stuff him and his wife truly enjoy. The little doggie looks so adorable wrapped up in the blankie like a burrito.
A 30 minute Tim Tracker vlog 🙌🙌
Glad you are safe. As a Canadian living in Toronto, Ontario Canada our hydro company is sending 500 workers to help restore hydro. We also sent lumber and building supplies + tools to help rebuild Miami & Orlando.
I have been waiting for this! Glad your all good
The Retro Metro SAME!
Me too, way up on Canadian border.
Watching almost a year later just to watch a lot of your videos
So happy to see someone loaned you their generator. People looking out for one another during trying times is so uplifting.

LOL Nebraska surely sees more than we do in Ohio.
Ariel Long Oklahoma 101 haha 😂😂
This is the correct answer.

We were at WDW during Irma. I've also been at WDW during Frances as well. Both times Disney did a fantastic job keeping us all safe and informed.
Oh bandits little head tilt is the cutest thing 💕

Oh guys! I'm so glad y'all are okay. How very sweet of the person to lend their generator! So very kind. That warms my heart to hear that. ❤️

It's great to hear from you guys! We are so glad you are all safe 💛

James Flick waaaaay off. You're like 50th comment
Wasn't the first comment first like and view at donya sorry if spelled wrong lol
I'm so glad you're ok! Been in my thoughts for days. Thanks for taking us along on your hurricane adventure!
I'm so glad you guys are safe and sound! Hope your power returns very soon! ❤️ from VA!
I slept through Hugo when I was little. Didn't even realize it was going on. It was a cat 4
Welcome back Tim and Jan, so glad to hear you guys are safe and other than no power are doing great!! So glad you didn't have any damage either such a blessing!!
"Everything's coming up Millhouse" 😂😂😂
i so love that part too! hahahahaha
I didn't go through this but alot of my family did. Thankfully you and my family are okay! It sucks how florida is such a nice place but gets so much storms I also hate how it randomly rains. but SUPER NICE PLACE!
When I was 17 a hurricane destroyed my town... We passed a plate around. Total strangers moved to kindness by my story. -Hamilton
Minnie Rhea IN THE EYE OF THE HURRICANE THERE IS QUIET
Merry Clark FOR JUST A MOMENT
*They had us in the first part*
Welcome back. Glad you guys are safe! We've been watching here in So Cal and can't believe how massive that storm was. Thanks for sharing your experience, it's interesting to see what you do during a hurricane (it seemed very nerve racking.) Here we just have earthquakes and there is no waiting... it just happens! I hope the rest of the season is pretty calm for you guys!
AHHH you watched Pushing Daisies?! I thought I was the only one!
I was getting worried that without power, we wouldn't get a Tim Tracker Video all week! I CAN'T GO ON WITHOUT MY DAILY TRACKER VIDEOS! I JUST CAN'T!
Time to pressure wash the pool deck
I think the same thing every time i see their pool.
MrCam Shaft lmaoo
I think they only dont do it because it ruins the pools chemistry which can damage the mechanical parts
Watching this back almost 2 years later, and it brings you back. Having loved through Charlie(terrible but during the day), and irma(not as bad as we expected but at night), Irma felt scarier because you couldn’t see anything. There isn’t any feeling worse than when Jim cantore comes to town 😬
Ha! Yeah.. when Jim Cantore comes in it's not going to be good..but HE will be standing out in it!😮
vice versa for tornado watch & warning I live in Kansas so I know
I'm glad to know y'all made it through the storm safe!
“What if somebody came up to you and just started touching your eyebrows?”
“It’s happened to me before...”
😂😂😂
Where I am in Orlando, my neighborhood didn't lost power, and the only thing that fell was a tree into the yard, so no house damage. We also got the tornado watches and warnings, and I'm glad you guys were safe!
JENN HOW HAVE YOU NOT WATCHED RATATOUILLE YET???? LIKE DING DANG!!!!!!!
Bart Simpson and here we are 6 months later and she still hasn't lol
2 days after hurricane Maria i had 40 days without power and my friend got power this valentines day but glad that u guys are safe!! Keep up the good work
Just for future reference. From someone who lives in tornado alley, A tornado warning means that there is a tornado haha. That is when you need to take cover
Nick Favre ur brave to live in tornado valley
So glad you guys are ok!!! Couldn't be happier to have you guys back!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
NOTIFICATION SQUAD WHERE YOU AT OMG I MISSED MY DAILY DOSE OF TIM AND JENN
