- Brush clearing is an ongoing necessity when you have a bit of property. The RUT MFG 36" brush cutter makes the job a lot easier and, well, more enjoyable as well!

Yes, I know... I've waited most of my life to finally be able to get one, and all I can say is it's awesome. I'm assuming you mean the excavator, but the brush cutter is a really nice accessory as well.

I can set that unit up with a micro mulcher that will mow material like that with ease. Much easier on the machine as well
Interesting concept... I had not considered a mulcher, but it looks promising. I'll admit, the cutter seems a bit hard on my KX033, and to mulch material would be preferable to just cutting it. I'd be interested to learn more.
Have the exact same machine. I am considering purchasing the rut mower for clearing a steep bank that my tractor and bush hog can’t handle. Have you used the attachment on any steep banks.
Sorry for such a late reply, I'm gone for weeks on end in the truck! If you watched the vid, you can see that I'm cutting on the steep bank of the creek. So yes, it's really a unique capability of a cutter on an excavator. I don't know what else could do it!

You mean a KX030 like mine? Not familiar with a KX30. But in any case, RUT tailors their brush cutter to the flow rate of your machine, so in that sense you should be OK. The other thing to consider is the weight of your machine. Even though my excavator is about 8000 lbs, that 500 lb brush cutter extended out there is a bit hard to manage smoothly at times. So weight is a consideration. A larger machine would handle it easier of course.
@@AlaskaNostalgia66 i have a kx030 weight around 6700 lbs your kx33 is heavyer so will not work whit mine
You must have the ROPS that is not the cab version. The brush cutter would work on yours, but the lighter they are the more unstable. The KX-057 would handle it it better.

I think waisted time used excavator for brus cutter,
Better used mini kubota tractor L1500 more efficient in brush cutter,
More faster and better
Tractor can made 3 hectare perday...
Excavator i think 3 hectar maybe take 5 day or more 😂
On the bright side, the excavator can reach areas that are inaccessible to other machines
