Wow this was incredible. Now this is what I call a collection. Someone who has purposely grown a collection that truly has meaning. Well done. I just bought the black and white as I wanted something to go with my oracle cards so I would use them. I’m shrinking my collection down - and wouldn’t even call it a collection as I don’t want to collect but more to have usable card decks instead of them sitting on a shelf
I love this video!! I definitely don’t aspire to own many RWS decks but I love being able to indulge in seeing others. I love my Radiant Rider Waite decks trimmed… it’s so magical to me. I also love my version Carol Herzers versions of the RWS, Starlight. That Japanese RWS is awesome!!! Wish they’d bring it to the US market.
Loved your video! You are so knowledgeable on all the RWSs!!!! Can I get your advice? I'm looking for the best cardstock mass market RWS for my riffleshuffling carpeltunnelled hands, but as any Loyal RWS fan I'd like it to have it all: a great looking front with a beautifull and classic looking back pattern. : ) This is where I stand: I have the Centennial but cardstock seems to be too stiff. So I've been eyeing "The Original Tarot" (good front and linen cardstock) but I can't get past the back. And this is intended to be my work horse deck so I should love it, or will end up not using it. I also Considered getting a vintage (because they do tend to have great cardstock) but then I'd be afraid of using it like with my J.K and Hoi Polloi. (God I sound Crazy jejejej). So, is there somehing you might suggest? Have you tried European versions? I sure wish Fournier printed an RWS, I LOVE how light, flexible and durable their cardstock is... Thanks in advance!
When I first started reading Tarot I had a hard time learning cuz I couldn't connect to the RWS deck. I do however like the Golden universal deck! You have an amazing collection ❤
I had that problem with them too so I tucked them away and worked with the Aquarian and Morgan Greer decks. After a few years I went back to the RWS, and I had a whole new appreciation for it. It is now my favorite work deck, and has been for years. (My good working deck is an older Universal Waite)🙂
After I finished filming I realized I forgot that one. I do own a copy but because I keep it in a deck bag in my nightstand, I completely forgot to grab it!
Funny, I also sent you a link to make playing cards site for the Conrad Steyn reproductions and now it is not here in the comments. Did you get that? No annoying, TH-cam! @@rachelstarotreads
Hi Rachel, wondering if you have heard of or seen the 1990's universal waite (brown box) with navy blue backs not the gold stars. The deck I got today from fb marketplace has navy backs everything else about them seems above board. Or if any of Rachels followers has any info on this I would be very appreciative. Lisa
Hi Lisa! Yes I own a copy of the 90’s Universal Waite. The box is brown and the card backs are a dark navy blue with muted gold stars. The coloring on the images is much more muted than the cards that come in the blue box.

Loved the video... i NEED the borderless cardboard coffe-stained deck... i have been looking for it for so long 🥺🥺🥺🥺
You have the best collection! I had to go grab my oldest deck and see if I had anything rare but it’s just a US games deck. 😊
I've never seen gifted a deck that would be cool

Wow! So many Rider Wait decks!!! 🙈🙉🙊 Does the glow in the dark decks flow even if they haven't been in the light beforehand?
Yes they still glowed a little bit!
@@rachelstarotreads Nice!
No Albano Waite, huh? They are hard to find. Maybe I missed it but I think I saw all of your decks.

In your opinion, which deck has the best facial expressions?

@@rachelstarotreads mine doesn’t have any stars just navy blue 🫤
@@lisabishop4230 Wow. That would improve the deck for me! Edge-to-edge blue? Or w/ a white border?
I sent you another link about the Pam decks created by conrad steyn and now I don't see it here.
I never received a comment with the links?
Didn't you have a pink deck before?
Type in Pam A Steyn.
Yes! This is the way.
