Red door is a beauty. Ive been wearing Yvresse by YSL, which was initially known as Champagne. Also wearing 5th Avenue a fair bit. Its so interesting to me how our emotions seem to lead us to what we truly need in our fragrances. I only have to look at what im wearing and when I see im using lots of vintage ones I know that lots of tlc is needed, because they signify comfort to me. They also signify defiance and confidence at times. I dont know how anyone cannot find fragrance to be emotional. Hera is my all time comfort fragrance. I will never be without it. Paris Paris by Chanel is another favourite. We are so lucky to have this love and access to these fragrances. Xxx
@@thefragrantician I find Hera better for the slightly cooler temperatures, early autumn and spring time. I've worn it in the heat but I feel on my skin it's better in other seasons. It has that vintage but not quite vintage at all contradiction!. Very special fragrance
Oh i love your picks and i like your love to the Cacharel House...i love their Fragrances too! All Year around i like to wear "Voyage" Hermes, "Paris" YSL, "Roma" Laura Biagiotti, "Paris-Edimbourg" Chanel and many others but i think these 4 Fragrances are very likeable also in the Summerheat.

Jicky and Samsara are my possibly surprising to some year-round scents, as is (vintage) Dior Eau Savauge (one that surprised me!). Then you have Poison, which I think is always appropriate (though I avoid it on very hot days, having ruined Dolce Vita for myself on a day that was in the 90s F/high 40s C), and, of course, Tubereuse Criminelle. La Religieuse isn't my favorite Lutens, but it is one that I reach for whenever I need something subtle and fresh, no matter the time of the year.

I love Rumeur for a wet spring day. I’ll have to try it in colder weather. Like another commenter said, not a lot of people are speaking about Serge Lutens these days. I wore Datura Noir many times this summer (I find the heat brings the coconut alive but I’ll wear it in winter too.) Today I wore Feminité du Bois and I know people don’t love the current formulation but it works for me! Eyes, lips and blouse are looking beautiful Gabi. 💕

As far as Angel, I have worn it all year round,for so many years and I have absolutely enjoyed it every single time! I don't know about the people around me though, they might have faced some kind of difficulty (choking maybe?😅), but I didn't really care ..because Angel has been with me wherever and whenever I was,no matter the time ,the place,the season!💙
