Yo this is sick, just started playing preservation evoker as my first healer. Informative commentary is always nice and I NEED those weak auras. Great video
Thanks for the feedback! Happy to talk where I can about my gameplay, maybe in a few future videos I can walk through some more of my decision making. Anything particular you would be interested in hearing during a run?
Yea, using defensive where, cooldowns where, ect. I find myself using stasis a lot, but holding rewind for some reason. I use communion a lot to, but spots to set up a TA, verdant , communion is good to know. Stuff like that and when to use defensive is great. Or how and when to use time dilation on tank. I usually just throw it up when they get waked hard lol
Great video, this was very insightful. Do you prioritize verdant embrace over bloom/breath? or use bloom/breath off cd and verdant/living flame to fill?
Verdant Embrace with life bind ends up being quite a lot more flexible and has a lot of useful combos. You can renewing blaze before lifebinding which does a ton of healing, you can healthpot/heartseeking injector or cavedwellbr's delight as a pseudo healing cooldown in life bind. Maybe the most important is to life bind to your party before popping your stasis, which pretty much guarantees a full party lay on hands. Doing a lifebind before rewinding is also super powerful. As for the standard lifebind into self-spriitbloom compared to just echoes into a spirit bloom that one is much more situational. A lot of the time I will precast spiritbloom with echoes as an aoe is going out to heal it up right as it goes out. Where lifebind+self-spriitbloom is really useful ends up being when people are spread out since life bind doesn't have a range. So for bosses like stone vault last boss or mists last boss intermission, I will always use lifebind + self-spirit bloom to make sure I heal people that may be out of range. hope that helps!
@donosipov9514 said it well. It really depends on the combo you're doing, I wouldn't neccesarily prioritize, it's completely dependent on your situation.
Using wall here refers to the ability “Obsidian Scales”. As Pres, you get two charges of this ability. Often in high keys. Most dps players and healers refer to their basic damage reduction abilities as “wall” in reference to the original damage reduction ability that was most widely we’ll know “shield wall”. It’s a phrase passed down through the game to suggest someone has a DR
on the pull after first boss I think you may have gotten extra unlucky - sacred weapon goes on you, tank gets hit, tempered in battle hits you for like 4-5m, and then the shadowalker charges you first. Exact same thing happened to me in a 14 (on prot pal) except it killed my DK lol. I struggle gathering this pull cause you really want initial threat on all the shadowalkers but there are 3-4 in this pull potentially and only so many globals. Sucks that you could have lived the umbral rush (i think you only got hit by one) but tempered in battle can be so troll sometimes.
Tempered in battle is insanely frustrating at times. It's killed me a few times, and my team mates. The best way to counter it is to ensure your tank is topped on the gather, but not always a perfect art... wish they removed it!
Is there ever a case where pres needs to use emerald blossom outside of a blossom build? I also like to heal with my verdant embrace vie echo's since it's like 30% stronger than a chrono flame and it is an instant cast (and following it with blossom/chorno flame if needed) so I often have a lot of healing done with verdant crits and lifebinds. I don't see any other pres doing that. Am I in the wrong or people aren't aware of it?
Emerald blossom suffers in m+ most of the time due to the inability for your team to always be stacked for a majority of mechanics. It lacks the consistent throughout to be able to heal through very high demanding Hps requirements in high keys. There are niche examples where it could be quite strong (second boss of dawn breaker for instance) but going a blossom build specifically for this occasion seems rather wasteful in my personal opinion (though to be fair, I haven’t tried!) Too many dungeon encounters and trash fights require very large spot healing, and very little consistent rot that blossom handles well.
To answer the second part, you can see I use echo into verdant quite a bit to trigger life bind. Often fights require a variance of healing abilities to handle large damage spikes over 5-8 seconds, which makes echo verdant into spirit bloom very strong
@@ryersonlive thanks a lot! One more question if you may, how to play in a raid with chrono pres? I'm trying to apply the same rotations and combos as in M+, but I feel like I'm doing it wrong
@@Captain-qv8yu Unfortunately I don't raid this tier, so not the best person to ask. Wowhead.com and QElive have some really helpful resources for preservation in raid
we love a mythic plus KING that does commentary instead of playing a dubstep track in the back ground. you have a cutesy voice too, YASSS

Did you find these weak auras?
Great commentary as I play Presvoker. Keep them coming!
Very well done, sir :) I love your commentary.
thank you!
@ryersonlive welcome- just followed you on twitch !
Pleasure to watch you, learn a-lot from you and I love your relaxed attitude ❤️
Thank you for the support!
Very helpful. Keep these commentary videos coming. Even break it down further for some of us newer guys

@ryersonlive anything like this. I did a 10 dawn breaker after watching your vid and just knowing what packs are worth sending cds is legit.

I guess I'm not tracking tank CD's. How do you track them? Or which add on ?
Glad this helped. Seems like many have found value in these, I’ll post a few more :)
The commentary is super helpful, ty
thx for this content ! We need more prevoker videos for m+ like this :-) tyvm !
Will work on more this week!
