He was off his medication and had recently been relieved of his duties at the corrections facility he was working at.

    Final video:
    The officer bungled recognition of a state abbreviation, something taught in grade school, then went on to minimize the whole situation and talk like a Zuckerbot, whether she accepted responsibility or not. No empathy for what she put the family through. Just some "stoic acceptance of consequences" like she was an action hero falling on their sword.

    We as critical thinkers know that “putting your hands behind your back” while being tased and having electricity applied to your body is such an easy thing to do, right? Reasoning, common sense and a high IQ is something that’s frowned upon in law enforcement. Kinda like when there’s 4 officers screaming 4 different commands “put your hands up”, “don’t move”, “ get on the ground” “ walk backwards to the sound of my voice”, “stop, get down on your stomach, don’t move”……………”now you’re going to be charged with resisting arrest, and failure to follow lawful commands”. Law enforcement is by far the most ego driven and god like complex profession in the US. They have no problem reminding citizens that they are capable and willing to ruin someone’s life with the stroke of a pen just because they are having a bad day or because they just learned their partner/wife/husband is having an affair. It shouldn’t be any doubt why wives of police officers are the most abused women in the US.

Tasers are LESS lethal, but they are still lethal. Meaning this is deadly force to gain compliance. Not only is this cruel and unusual but dangerous. A continued use of a taser can set off cardiac events and is likely to lead to a heart attack and/or long term heart defects. The cop holding this taser is endangering life over a trespass. The last clip when the family had guns pointed at them was bad but to go on the news and claim it was cuz they were black is rediculious! It was a black female officer that initiated the entire thing!!! So explain how it was "because we're black"?

    • @caleblambert7180
      @caleblambert7180 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Agreed, black families are targeted by bad cops all the time and it's terrible. This was not one of those times yes the cop made a terrible mistake and should receive disciplinary action but it was not because of race. When people show that this is what discrimination looks like we turn everything into it and then no one is held accountable. This reminds me of something that happened during the height of the BLM movement (also not sure about now but supporting them back then was not a good idea most of the money got embezzled by some rich white guy, ironic I know) but this black mother was threatened in person by the ex and when cops showed up the man rushed them with a knife so the cops shot him and he died. People started rallying and verbally abusing the mother outside her apartment saying that the man died because of discrimination and said that she was racist (as a black woman) for calling the cops and getting the ex killed.think about the added trauma this had to have caused. She was in danger not only for her own life but also for her childs and when you reach out for help the entire world seemingly turns on you for wanting to protect yourself and your children.
      When we call any kind of policing towards black people as racist we stop good cops from doing their job out of fear of retaliation from social media. We should be using social media as a way of preventing bad cops from doing bad things and not preventing good cops from doing their jobs.
      Thanks to anyone that read this yapuccino and if you didn't understandable.

      That really pissed me off too. Some people don’t see how THEY are traumatizing their own kids by raising them to believe their life is in danger because of their skin colour. It’s incredibly sad. Not to mention the officer who made the mistake told them exactly how and why it happened!

    I don't think they need to respond with guns out to a reported stolen vehicle. Since the car stopped, they maybe should first give commands, and then if the people don't listen, then they can pull guns. The family in the car was right. Too many people have died over dumb stuff like that mistake. For the officer to have a look on her face like she can't understand why he's so upset is disturbing.
