What held C&C3 back was the fact that it's fps was locked 30 because of a coding mistake and they didn't want to fix it. If it wasn't it would so much better! Though still love it.

FMVs were quite common during 90's after CDs became common. C&C was the last artifact of that era and with Wing Commander they were ones who did it best (hiring actual A listers (WC had John Rhys-Davis, Mark Hamill, C&C had James Earl Jones, Michael Ironside, Michael Biehn, Billy Dee Williams, Tim Curry etc.) instead of whoever entered office that day, having actual film sets etc.)

Red alert 2 and Generals ZH were some of my favorite RTS games. The soundtrack of both is amazing. Generals was about USA going to war with Middle eastern Global Liberation Army which fields terrorists, bomb trucks, scud launchers, anthrax etc. if Kanes wrath was controversial in 2007 then Generals release was insane in 2003 just after 911 and just as USA went to war with Iraq.

As seems par for the course with Bricky, he mangled the lore quite a bit, especially with the whole zone thing. GDI didn't 'push anyone out'; the world was divided into zones based on the levels of Tiberium infestation. Purely based on that, not wealth, race, class ethnicity, nationality or anything else. Blue Zones are just the zones that have little to no Tiberium presence, while Yellow Zones have moderate to heavy contamination and Red Zones are completely uninhabitable storm-wracked wastelands. Yes the people in the Yellow Zones resent those in the Blue Zones (helped by Nod propaganda) but it's hardly their fault.

the problem was that GDI abandoned 80% of the world to Tiberium infestation fending for themselves (prioritizing wealthier nations, those that funded GDI)& nod actually came in to these abandoned nations & improved their living conditions.
the best slander & propaganda is those based in truth's.

Love the game, tiberium sun + addon was baller too. Still played this C&C 3 the last 2 years in the office with my boss at the end of a work day sometime versus CPU 2v2 :).
