Seeing it as an adult, he is basically an unrepentant kidnapper who in this scene talks about torturing a little boy in order to give him information about an extinct species so he can kill it. Totally get it! I feel like that's a kind of creative left-field thing that's specific to animated movies. The noises Joanna makes at that particular moment are also classic.

They added the linework for the frame i got... But they added it on the wrong frame, hence his nails turning black in the frame beforehand.
