Very infomative video. Pre covid, I often had the immense pleasure to test their china stuffs, as I often stop at the Rue de Sèvres boutique's salon de thé for lunch or for tea time. Obviously premium quality: I just love how coffee or tea feel like when infusing in their tea pots. It just seems that their porcelain keeps drinks in perfect temperature! The ex-libris iconography is a little bit too classic and phony to my liking, as perfect as it does look. I tend to prefer their seasonal creations, such as passiflore, orchid garden or walk in the garden. I think Hermès is among the best when it comes to landscaping, don't you think???Whenever my watches need maintenance, I always bring them to the Mothership at 24 FSH instead of Sèvres. I just love sitting on the 2nd floor there, admiring their city garden while waiting for the batteries of my watch to get changed. Those 20 minutes are very soothing, every time. However, I wouldn't splurge on their tableware, which let's be honest, do cost an arm and a leg. It wouldn't go well with my home aesthetics which has more of some Asian zen vibes. And I would be too scared to break those. I mostly buy my china/ ceramic homeware in Japan or in Taiwan... similar quality for a fraction of the price! Yes, I do appreciate the brand but.... mostly from afar, as I am more of the trashy/ flamboyant Chanel type! If I ever splurged on their cashmere blankets, it would only be for a decoration purpose, as I am so used to sleep only in sheets made of cotton. I think the only "homeware" items I got from them were some little cutesy craps from the petit h line, some little square plates with horses on it, and a sort of candle/ plate holder made of ebony wood whose name was PALISSANDRE if I remember correctly. It was quite an old collection from 2011 or 2012. It was literally love at 1st sight with this Inca/ Asian hybrid object (a little bit like a your LAO elephant) and I ended up buying it impulsively on that day, along with the Etrivière tote.
What a fabulous way to test-drive their china before actually pulling the trigger 🤩 If you ever find a pattern that truly speaks to you, the fear of breaking them shouldn't stop you!! They're much more sturdy than they look 😉 Hermès' respect for each larger boutique's local architecture and way of integrating greenery into the shopping experience is absolutely magnificent!! The new, grand New York City flagship which is currently still underway is going to have a huge outdoor terrace space - similar to the one on top of the 24 rue Faubourg store - which I'm beyond excited to see once it's completed 🌳 If I may suggest, I think you'd adore the candleholders from the Saint Louis Folia collection..if you're ever in the mood to add another touch of Hermès to your home 🌟
I love the plates and cups. These are on my list to add to my home collection. I’ve always admired your scarf system since you first shared it. Your collection is divine. 🥰

I have seen the scarf attached in my local store. I love it. I am thinking of getting these for my new apartment. I also love how easy it is to change scarves. I think to put a light behind so the design stands out more is a genius idea 💡.
