I really like this. This is something I would let my kids watch. It's quite educational really. I like the relationship between Crusoe and Friday... and the whole racial/cultural thing that's going on there too. Morals, Friendship, ... good stuff

This series was epic. Thanks for uploading it. My DVD copy got a scratch on it mid way through. Can't find a new one and wanted to watch it again and till the end. Sucks though that this series is one of the last big greats and understated greats before reality TV took control and many died. Wish it was able to be finished right. Still totally epic series! 💖
I am blind. But extremely impressed by her Friday’s intuition and wisdom. Also impressed with Caruso’s cantankerous drive.Friday is a superhero. Savage or not I’m really not sure what that means I’m starting to think savage mean super cool.!

Well this episode shows the chronology is wrong, the London Gazette is dated February 26 to March 2 1684, Charles II was monarch until 6 February 1685, the Monmouth Rebellion occurred in June, so Crusoe couldn't be in exile
The series imparts valuable lessons: self-reliance in any circumstance, creative problem-solving under pressure, and the importance of loyalty and humility towards trustworthy friends.
These episodes do get a lot sillier but still an enjoyable watch....
So his "benefactor-friend" at heart is a creep now openly bent on stealing his wife = even murdering him to get his way:
- along with her creepy-rat brother and her no heart father/grandfather...!
Had feared his "self imposed benefactor helper" would turn out to NOT be a true friend-> tho hoped for the best = turns out to be total godlessness + corruption on the part of that entire crew...!
