I watched different short saying that when wett hair stretches and then shrinks on each other, it causes notts in our hair, leading to friction and hair breakage.
Her advice was to wear your hair long or streatch it out, like play in it more if you have curls or a afro. I try to keep my hair highdrated, and my scalp moisturized with oil & since i have thick hair, i pick it out more now when its still little wet
      I hope this helps yall

My hair is breaking off. Ever since I let my natural grey hair grow out, it breaks 😭. Very thin half way to the end. Not using any products or heat. Wash my hair three times a week😣!

Replied to a similar comment so I’m gonna copy paste most of it 😅
make sure your hair is well covered when you condition so it will be well hydrated; you can also start using some masks every now and then +apply a good amount of oil on mids and ends before shampooing
      keep hair from getting dry
Besides that you can try and find some loose hair styles [like two braids that aren’t tied up hard] so it keeps it from getting tangled especially before bed
Don’t forget although it may be frustrating try and be as gentle as possible when brushing; maybe use your fingers at first and if there is a knot apply some oil on the finger tips and gently detangle it
One more tip cause I don’t know your hair routine so just in case: use microfiber towel or a cotton old shirt to dry after washing and never go to bed with wet hair
Also try and find a water filter if the water where you live is very heavy cause that can cause hair to be more fragile and break too

    • @user-jn6lf7cc6p
      @user-jn6lf7cc6p ปีที่แล้ว +4

Last thing I promise 😅: you said you don’t use any products but you didn’t specify exactly and I’m not sure what you meant so I suggest to start using some oil [like jojoba or argan]on ends regularly to keep them hydrated and perhaps a leave in conditioner [game changer if it’s a good one]
      Hope this helps

Some things that have helped to control my hairfall include: (1) I discontinued wearing ponytails because it causes tension damage. (2) I began massaging my hair and scalp twice a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while leaning forward & holding my head upside down to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Covering my head while moving out to shield my hair from dust and pollution. (4) Using mild shampoo again from liittleextra only to cleanse my hair.

As a licensed cosmetologist this is actually not true . Hair has three phases of growth and one of them is a natural resting phase . When hairs fall out during that phase they do not have a white bulb because a fresh new hair has taken its place . If your hair fallout has white bulbs it was prematurely pulled and that’s even worse because it’s unlikely to have a new hair in its place as you’re removing the “root” before it was ready .

Thats false. The bulb in itself isnt the root. People suffering from telogen effluvium usually have their hair shed with bulbs and guess what? It takes 6 months for it to recover

    • @userleftthisaccountforever

The idea that hair fall with a white bulb at the end is abnormal can be a misunderstanding. In reality, it's quite normal for hair to shed with the white bulb, as it's a natural part of the hair growth cycle. The white bulb is the root sheath, which surrounds the hair follicle. When a hair completes its growth phase and enters the shedding phase, it's common for this bulb to be present at the base of the hair.

Abby I have a huge problem and the internet is giving me way too many "causes". I have white little specs all over my strands from mid length to my very ends. I completely stopped bleaching over a year ago and limit my heat use to very minimal. I do not get regular cuts however I did just get a really good one but still have a lot of these specs. I bought k18 recently but I have been using the everpure bond repair line for about a month. I massage l nightly and use rosemary oil (few months now), I do use the oils on my ends and strands but when I do I almost feel
Like the breakage increases. Use satin pillow case, very loose updo with satin scrunchie, or claw clip or wear my hair
Down with very little brushing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong it doesn't
Seem to be improving at all. I know I have a ton of hair growth so my lengths are all different not to be confused to broken ends although most of
It is. Help please with any guidance

How long is your hair? I had this problem but it improved over time once I realized I wasnt using enough conditioner, both rinse out and leave in. You probably wont see immediate extraordinary results but ensuring that you hair is conditioned enough will protect it from mechanical damage (the culprit it my case) among other things. This combined with regular trims will, over time, improve the quality of your hair. Please try using a good leave in (use more than you think you need if your hair is dry) and an oil to protect fragile, already damaged ends. Good luck

Sometimes hair breaks of because of lack of moisture as well also make sure your using oils for your hair type find out if your low porosity or high porosity
For low porosity use oils like sweet almond jojoba oil or grape seed oil even pumpkin oil for high porosity use thicker oils like castor oil and or coconut oil also chopping off hair where the specs are at is a must use mosturizing shampoos and conditioners limit hair wash days to 2 days use a leave in conditioner use hair masks
