I also appreciate this! I have never searched "how to fall asleep" on TH-cam. Your stories are always listened to with full attention, many times over. But you can blame the beauty of your voice and enunciation, the rhythm of your sentences and the sensitivity of your expression, for the fact that drifting into dreamland accompanied by your readings is like being flown there by angels.
Thanks so much Tony! I often listen to your stories once while awake, and again later to fall asleep. Some of the ghost stories you select are also strangely cozy and comforting. I can just imagine we are all huddled 'round the fireplace, listening to you in the dark and the quiet, as if to some long-lost secret.

So happy that I've found you Tony!!! I'm a follower and subscriber of your excellent Podcast and am thankful to have found you on here too. Love the stories that you read and the information and ideas that you add. Thank you so much for everything! Many thumbs up!!!
I like me some ghost stories (and allegedly true ones even better) thanks for the big block of them because I like to listen all day (or fall asleep to them).
Look here now, I don't listen to your stories to fall asleep; I listen to your stories at night, in my bed, in the dark, and I always fall asleep eventually because when I finish one story I start the next.
Hello Mr Walker, My favorite Scarie, was The Highway Man. I LOVE those romantic ghostly👻tales of yesteryear, Thank you so very much for the telling of it. So, I lent an ear, sat back with a hot cup of my favorite Earl Grey tea, a blanket wrapped about me, and all four Cats that own me and reveled in your Ghostly Narrations. And the Time Slip Scaries are always some of my favorite subjects. Have you ever read Charles Fort's "The Book of the Damned'? These are some very Creepy, Eerie, Unexplained, true accounts of weird inexplicable events in peoples lives, such as his entries of Time Slips. I LOVE Forts telling of the paranormal, suspenseful and Creepy Tales. I do Hope Yourself and your family, namely your Mother is well and Good!
Love the reference to "Coast to Coast AM". I used to listen to the show in the early mornings on the way to base while I was in the Navy. Great show. Love me some George. I always like the segments George would do about people who abruptly disappear. No mental issues, no enemies, not suicidal, no money problems, no drug problems, no legal problems, and nothing wrong...they just disappear without a trace.
I never enjoyed a ghost story more than the one you told about the pirate ship that was discovered in a man's, turnip field. The way you narrated was the most entertaining I have ever heard. "THE GHOST SHIP"
Miners don't wash their backs because of the magical principal of "evening up". If one's back is clean while hunching through a cramped tunnel, such a clean surface invites a cave-in to equalize the situation.
@@ClassicGhost Both cats were home. I had never seen either one of them beside this switch before or since. I just wish I had a camera pointed at that switch 😂 I was out doing a 12 hour shift that day. Left around 07:15 and switched the lamp off before I left. This lamp was plugged into an extension lead which was then connected to this switch in the hall. When I returned home I thought the fuse had blown in the lamp. I was on my way for a screwdriver/fuse when I looked down at the socket in the hall and it was in the off position. Ive lived here 30 year and have never known that happen before. I blamed my deceased partner and told him off for scaring me lol.
I am one of those people who listen to scary stories at night (also while working from home!), however only short stories as i get too interested in longer ones like most of the ones you read for us 😊 - i dont want to miss anything! Thank you SO much for this video 🙏🏽 i am a huge lover of relaxing sounds for sleeping - my favourite are ambient noises such as: cartoons/oldies/tv playing in another room so it's slightly muffled, the sound of rain from the inside of a car, cooking noises/background chatter/keyboard typing/writing and paper noises etc.. you get the idea 😄
This is great, Tony! I love the Fortean content - ghosts, time slips, personal anecdotes. I forwarded this to my partner because the content is right up his alley too. We’re staying awake for this! ~Shaay
I really enjoyed your eerie stories Tony. It put me in a far away place. Please do The Woman In Black. Saw the movie version which so well done and creepy. Thanks Tony.
When we look to study any unknown subject, the first thing we need to do is gather data. Before we come to any conclusions, we observe before we can even begin to form a hypothesis. This is where we are at with the paranormal. Society has finally reached a time where we can no longer pretend it is not there or is the result of a disturbed mind. We have a long way to go before we can claim any answers as to how or why.
Regarding Sir William Whirelaw MP referred to in The "true story" Edenhall hotel, After several years of declining health, Sir William Whitelaw died from natural causes at Ennim, his home in Blencow, on 1 July 1999, shortly after his 81st birthday. Nothing about disappearing into a mirror. Having said that you tell a truly gripping story and are a wonderful narrator.
Divorce is never the way out, My wife and I have been having issues before I sort out help from a spiritual adviser, i wasn't going to let my marriage of 18years crash.
I'm enjoying the story's. Thank you 😊💓 I'm finding the RAIN sounds more like a very loud horse an cart.or a machine of some sort.making it difficult to keep up with the story ...
I remembered Morgan Scorpion just narrated "The Vampire of Croglin Grange" in her Channel just a month ago. I didn't realized it's based on a supposedly true story.
@@ClassicGhost - It's really nice to hear old Country or Village legends and myths. It has a different feel as opposed to the usual commercial written fiction.

It took me too long to understand what was happening was paranormal. I made a few videos about it on my channel if youre interested :)

Sorry Mr Walker, I did NOT fall asleep, Your impeccable telling of these Scaries are too good, too intriguing to fall asleep on. Had to stay awake to the very LAST Word. Thank You Sir for them all!!!!!
I love your stories, though your dear old grandpa should have put a qualifier on his favors. Anything else OTHER than staying over deep down a mineshaft after his normal shift was over. Especially with a looney coworker.
love the rain. works so well with the stories. also love the way you tell the stories as if the fire’s crackling and we’re all sittin’ round the old wood table, knitting, sewing, smokin’ a pipe, whittling, sipping bourbon, rocking the baby - and you’re sitting in your old jacket tellin’ stories ‘bout real, normal people having these weird things happening to them. it’s true storytelling. 🕯️🪔 just to add to the ambiance, you always say maybe this or that in reality, but. . .
I do have a complaint. What the hell was the constant noise? Was that supposed to be rain? It sounds as if you've got some thin bit of hard plastic you keep crumbling in your hands. Could not continue.
