Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

When I caught Calyrex , his nature ended up being lonely. Very fitting

After Calyrex said that I just didn't have the heart to leave it in the box. So now I have an unexpected member to my party.
I'm the same way with a female shiny Leafeon. I won't bore you with the details, but the reason why involves me becoming too attached to a character in a story I wrote earlier this year.

Same. They're gonna stick in my party. I'll give them a competitive moveset and we gonna be doing lots of camping.
Also I couldn't possibly use the reins to separate them, the description literally talks about their bond and closeness and separating the horse from the rider feels like a true sin.
For my first rematch in the Champion tournament, I showcased Calyrex against Hop and Raihan
Yeah, I just put it on my team because it was new and I wanted to use it a little bit, then I saw a video ranking all the new crown tundra pokemon, and realized how op calyrex was. Now he is a permanent member of my team.

Fuse? Both Necrozma and Kyurem absorb those other two. But I get what you mean. Its funny, pokemon fusions seem more metaphorical than literal- excluding absorption. Like Calyrex here or Slowpoke with Shellders.
Necrozma doesn't absorb them, more like takes over like a parasite like in the anime.
@@aa-dn9ik Kyurem is the original dragon that was split in three , it's just resembling itself not actually fusing, and necrozma takes over solgaleo and lunala to steal their light and regain it's light form, pokemon never fuse it's called fusion for simplicity.
But I gotta admit the union between Calyrex and the horse's gives out an ability that combines their individual ones, too bad Calyrex just had to have a useless one.

Not gonna lie. I wasn't expecting much from Calyrex based on its appearance. But now it's one of the most endearing and badass Pokémon in history to me. You quite literally form a bond with it too.
This DLC proves to me that GameFreak hasn’t lost their touch just yet. The plot line for Calyrex blows the base game out of the water.

This is a surreal theme.
Never felt a rush of intimidation and excitement from a Legendary Pokémon since Arceus, Ho-oh and the Tapu’s themes.
It’s a combination of both the regal aesthetic of Calyrex and the ferocity stand of Glastrier/Spectrier.

I love how calm but empty calyrex's theme feels alone, and how chaotic and uncontrolled the horses' are when alone too, and I especially love how good they are together, they literally compliment each other and make two halves feel actually whole!

It says a lot about Calyrex that it's willing to wait for its horse to come back (with a little help from a carrot) rather than fuse with it again by force. Jumping on the horse's back to attach the Reins of Unity was only part of it; once Calyrex reminded Glastrier/Spectrier who it was, then the horse chose to work with it again.

From a physical standpoint, it makes sense for rider Calyrex to have 2 abilities: it's just Calyrex on a horse rather than an actual fusion like Kyurem/Necrozma, so they're technically still 2 separate pokemon.
It's one of the reasons I find this approach interesting despite the uninspired combined designs.
Yeah I think Calyrex was a great platform for tests despite what people think about the mon itself. The fusion is one, two abilities, direct interaction of a legendary in the story etc. are all new things I quite enjoyed.

It's funny how many people showed a considerable rejection towards this legendary and this ''fusion'' but after seeing how his story has originated then some like it.
I think it's one of my favorite legendary pokémon. It creates a lot of empathy for me and that interacting with the protagonist is something that I loved.

Yep, I loved it from the start, and the story only made it more and more incredible in my eyes. It’s the first Pokémon to have 2 functional abilities, the first pokemon to directly talk to us and actually interact with the player character as a character in of themselves, and it’s the only fusion that doesn’t cause pain to either of the Pokémon because it’s literally just a rider and it’s steed. The story made that into outright joy at the simple sight of it.

Yep, it may be sad that any new fans will have to go pay $90 to buy the game and DLC, but goddamn this dlc is epic. The only thing is I wish they didn’t make Gible and Bagon version exclusives. Had to transfer my Garchomp over and breed a Gible just to have it on my team.

That thing is also a side quest, it's not needed for the story in the dlc, nor to unlock the star tournament. So calm the frick down and use your brain, if you have one.

The setting of a long forgotten King finally reuinting with his steed and silently challenging his knight to a final battle before moving on. The setting of the old abandoned castle. It's so tragic and beautiful!

I feel like the concept is genius but the execution is flawed. The horses just don't really feel like pokemon just regular horses with dye and cosmetics

The fact that this theme mixes Calyrex's theme and Spectrier/Glastier's theme makes this absolutely incredible.

He also the highest level legendary in the series topping Kyurem from Black & White in The Giant Chasm he level 75 Rider Calyrex is level 80.
Nb4 people say something about Arceus. It's a mythical Pokémon, not a legendary... Also was never legitimately catchable but details.

Finally a fusion legendary battle theme that is an actual fusion of the 2 legendary themes
I actually really liked Calyrex and spectrier, I actually felt proud of calyrex when it reclaimed its steed. Also the only Pokémon to ko my level 100 pokemon
Calyrex was being merciful to me by spamming Agility, but the fact he could have, at any moment, started sweeping my Lv. 100 team (since he could two-shot my Venusaur I use for capturing with) while being 20 levels UNDER my team absolutely terrified me.

This thing was stronger than I thought it would be. It tore through a Regice with special attacks...that's pretty crazy considering Regice can sponge most any special attacks, even ones like focus blast and blast burn.
I noticed something:
Calyrex's without a steed theme is missing background music (I don't know what its called), and steeds are missing the the actual music It's only background noise (I still don't know what its called). But when you combine the missing parts, (the king and the steed), you combine their music's missing parts as well.
And I think this is really cool

The Crown Tundra has probably been my favourite experience with Sword and Shield and I still haven’t even completed the Pokédex yet
Calyrex surprisingly adorable, has an amazing backstory and is basically an actual fleshed out character. I even felt bad for catching him, honestly
The steeds are both really cool, I especially like how they both look old and battered as time went on without Calyrex, and I love how their designs both flow well with Calyrex riding them, also it’s the first time in Pokémon history that you can catch 2 Pokémon with one ball (the Steed and Calyrex) and the first Pokémon with 2 abilities in one
The Galarian birds were really surprising and have basically opened up the door for more regional legendaries (perhaps the Johto Cat trio next?) and they’re designed amazingly, and I love how they’re an actual type triangle this time around (I even made a headcanon where they’re all sisters while the Kantonian forms are brothers)
The new Regi’s were also really surprising and they fit very well with the whole different periods of Human history (the Origins, the Stone Age, the Ice Age, the Industrial Age, the Dark Ages and the Age of Electricity)
I fell in love with Galarian Slowking almost as soon as the trailer dropped and it’s move and ability seem like they’ll be really good competitively
The Tundra itself is huge and I’m still getting lost in certain areas, it’s also very aesthetically pleasing like the Isle of Armour, but in a more personal way
So far my all time favourite new feature are the Max Raids, I’m using so many new Pokémon I’ve never thought of using before and I love eventually making my way towards the big legendary at the end, and I especially love the shiny mechanics for it being that you only see they’re shiny at the end of the raids and the chances of a shiny being encountered being 1/300 or 1/100 with a shiny charm, AND ON TOP OF THAT, the 100% catch rate on every Pokémon is very forgiving for both new players and people hunting for specific Pokémon (the first Tapu Koko I ever encountered was a shiny, and it’s my favourite shiny so I’m still very happy)
I really hope that in any future games or maybe a potential 3rd pass, we get something as good as the Tundra and Isle because it’s just so good

I usually nickname all of my pokemon no matter what, to kind of get a bond with them, but I couldn't bring myself to nickname him...after the story of us helping him and bonding with him, I said to myself "Your name is already perfect for you." :)
I had a similar thought. But I thought to call him "His Majesty" or "His Grace", so it'd be like "Trainer sent out His Grace!" But then I thought since he calls us by our name at the end, it'd be a disservice to a king to not return the sentiment.
I named him Bad Bunny :)

The legendaries in Galar have been done so well, it just feels like a land that is full of old forgotten myths and legends and I just love how well it fits with the whole fairytales and European/UK theme. And Calyrex resembling a king on his horse AND being a literal king in one way or another just takes the lore of Galar to the next level.
It’s actually a pattern I’ve started noticing in Sun and Moon, where you actually get to bond and let the legendary have some real significance, or at least they don’t feel like trophies you catch because they look extra cool.
I agree. Yet for some reason people still think Sword and Shield are bad.

The first Pokémon in the entire video game history who not only communicates with you in human speech but is also arguably a minor Protagonist who you help in their biggest hour of need. And it just so happens that it is one of the VERY select few Pokémon who can fuse with other Pokémon tied to it's existence. And said fusions are perhaps some of the MOST BROKENLY POWERFUL POKÉMON IN EXISTENCE!!! Either Death by the ultimate HailRoom physical Tank or the ultimate Hyper Offense Special Glass Cannon. And the real life lore around a Rabbit/deer and two dangerous and highly aggressive magical horses in the real world equivalent of the Galar Region's Crown Tundra is PERFECT. It just goes to show you that we truly are in a different new era where every possible bit of research and Connections to the real world are made when creating the countless Pokémon from around Gen 5 onwards. Even the weird or contraversiely designed ones.
Thank you GameFreak, for making the right choice with the Isle Of Armor and Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield. I think it's safe to say that things can only improve from here on out. Pokémon is finally evolving again.

I like how the “fusion” is more metaphorical than literal. Not only is it a nice change of pace from the two more literal fusions we already had, but like you said, a horse riding Pokémon is an amazing idea that surprisingly hasn’t been done before!

@@TheUltimaGhost Says you(and probably a lot of other people, maybe the majority...), I grew up with both Greek Gods and Arabic mythology as my story time, so this divine horseback-riding mini-moose is freaking epic to me.
I remember seeing some people lamenting over the leaks when they found out Calyrex got Unnerve, meanwhile I was looking at As One like “You can keep the opponent from healing with berries AND get a Moxie boost?!!!”
@@CaptainObliviousV The unnerve ability may not be useful on its own, but as an additional ability to freaking Moxie(especially since it also gets Special Moxie!), this thing is going to be a monster.
Tbh, Calyrex felt more like a Third Legendary than Eternatus, since Calyrex is a king, with Zacian and Zamazenta being his knights.

I’m not huge on this particular pokemon…but this theme IS very fitting to the side story and character. It just SCREAMS ‘His Royal Majesty and his Loyal Steed’.
This theme is so fitting for an ancient Pokemon King who just got back their full power. It sent chills down my spine when I got smacked by Glacier Lance. Even more of a fitting theme when I attempted to Beast Ball it, which I was successfully able to.
I like how it spoke to us and we helped it get its power back. Then it literally challenged us saying if we can catch it he will help us

@@MayHugger It gave him character unlike the other legendaries where we just had to catch them. I appreciated this new approach instead of “The legendary is there, go catch it!”.

Honestly one of my favorite legendaries. Its 2 different weak legendaries combined into one convincing stats, abilities, type, and moves. Plus it has a pretty cool story behind it. I love how this Pokemon feels like an actual character ITS SO COOL!!!

One thing that sucked about the Isle of Armor is that you don't battle the main legendary to get it.
Here in the Crown Tundra, it's so much better.
Cause you gotta raise it? It's not better in ay way just different ways of getting a pokemon, you catch some and you raise some.
But you do battle the opposite legendary in the final battle

Isn’t anyone gonna talk about how this them is basically a combination of Calyrex’s main theme, and the steed’s theme.
I just think it’s really cool, to show not only how they are combined literally, but their themes also combine too.

I love how this combines both calyrex and glastrier/spectriers themes together. Calyrexs horns and the horses drums. Shows how both arent complete without the other
Seriously, this battle theme gave me chills! It felt like the King of Galar was testing my strength, to see if I am a worthy successor.

Man we gotta give Gamefreak credit here... they killed it with this DLC. Nostalgia with the Regis, actual difficult puzzles and legendaries, surprisingly gorgeous environments, AWESOME music..
The fact we were given written clues to investigate the legends of the area was very cool aswell

Even with lvl 100 it knocked out 3 of my Pokémon before I caught it in a Timer Ball.

@@markambriz23 yeah lol. The new legendaries of the Crown Tundra are a decent amount harder to catch than Zacian, Zamazenta and Eternatus.

Also Virizion, but only because it fainted when my Pokémon sneezed on it a bit.
