Just getting to watch this video now, and seeing that it was the one filmed on Presidents Day! I spotted Sage and Emma during a lunch break if their's on this day and said a quick hi - they were both so lovely and happy to share a quick hello and congratulated me when seeing my 'College Program' celebration button. Good way to show how to drop back and punt. Sadly, it's a fact of life now days that the parks are just crowded most of the time. And I'm with Sage, I miss MGM.
I feel your ropedrop pain. We went to epcot on new years eve and frozen was exactly like that. Test tract was down. We rope dropped Fiesta and China.

See, Sage right off the bat is avoiding popular rides. PLEASE start weight-based points based on allears attraction ratings, and wait-time based for non-rated activities (snacks, character meets, etc). Watching the one from 2 weeks ago and that was my top issue, as it's not helpful for planning. Tho entertaining, it could be both. Portion of my comment from that vid below:
They should get the same amount of points as the attractions rating on their website (including decimals). For non-rated things (character meets, snacks, etc), a set amount of points according to wait time (1-5 mins= 1, 5-10=2, 10-15=3, 45-50=10, etc -- something data-based). It may be entertaining, but it's useless for planning, and the title and description very much makes it seem as tho it'd be helpful for that.
They should also do videos where they do a day with Genie+, and then try to do the same things the next day, to see how much more they get done. HAVE to be comparable crowd days. That will really show the value (or lack thereof) of Genie+.

i love your info videos they're so informative. i would like them even more if you could drop the day you are actually shooting not just the Premiered date. you could start the videos with "Hey it is Sunday March 3rd and we are here to give you a look at the best way to do....." It gives us a heads up as to how crowded it is during each month thanks again we hope to see you when we go in a year from now March 2025

This video shows what a real vacation at wdw is like. High crowds and being flexible. What is a realistic expectation for rides on days like this without Genie Plus?
So, is there a good time of day to do the wonders of water experience when it is super busy like this? We’re going to be going during spring break, and I was hoping for the more laid-back experience because we’ve never done it before, not what Sage described.
Everytime I go to Remy, the LL is backed up but once you scan in, I walk right up to the front. Its almost like people don't know how to scan in/trying to scan in too early/mistake it for the main line. I always see numerous familes pulling off to the side to try to figure out why they arent able to scan in

I love these challenges. I would love to see a ride race, or some sort park day challenge, where you have no access to Genie Plus and you have a group "family" of 4. Two people could role play parents, Two people could role play kids. Or could just be four adults with different must do's. I just did a disneyland day with 3 other adults for the first time ever, and I was shocked I only got 10 rides/attractions in a full day. Usually I get almost if not all done on a same crowd level day when just me + mom. For added challenge, you could "simulate" family of four with one in wheelchair/ecv and DAS (you could simulate DAS by getting Genie Plus but only wheelchair person has the say or decision-making and can not stack. Only one choice at a time with making next reservation after ride. Could do several challenges like this - one park all day (all 4 parks) days with park hopping, At Universal (with no accessibility pass)(but with wheelchair because sometimes things happen on trips or shortly before and an unexpected wheelchair is needed but don't qualify or don't have time to register for new accessible pass) Thanks for reading. @@CarolCap131 I think it's like when they eat lunch together, so neither gets an advantage or disadvantage.
Avoiding all the most popular rides is only fun if you’re an AP holder and have the ability to attend all the time, so… not the vast majority of people.
I love y’all’s stuff, but I’m turning this video off before the 4 minute mark since this “strategy” ruins the challenge.
Please consider weighting the attractions so there is some incentive to have a day that mimics how guests actually want to visit the parks: top attractions AND filler rides!

Seeing crowd levels like this make me glad I have no Disney plans. I do not understand why people (with small children) get into queues that are 3 hours long. Prices keep going up, crowds stay high...I don't get it. This is not a vacation.
