    I grew up eating Jujubes and until I watched your video, we never knew just what they were. My grandparents had a couple of bushes growing at the corner of the yard and the grandkids were always watching to see them get ripe. I haven’t seen one since those finally died some 30 years ago. Well at least I know jujubes can thrive in East Texas. Thank you for the video!

    Check Taiwanese Jujube. I thought its an apple. It is the size of a small green apple with the shape exactly like an apple. I wish we could get them here.

    My sugar cane jujube tree has alot of flowers and even has small fruits coming out. But I dont know why they start to turn brown and die off. PLEASE HELP!

      Bay Area Bettas If less than half of them did that it is most likely naturally thinning itself.
      But if almost all or all of the fruit fell off and shriveled up, it’s either too much water or not enough water, my guess would be too much water.

      No. You need to choose a grafted plant for true to type fruit.

    Inside the pit, are 2 true seeds. They look like small lentils.
    Store bought fruit has none of those true seeds inside the pit.
    Must be the variety, or they are self fruitful and they don't use pollinators?

    DO NOT PLANT THIS TREE IN YOUR YARD !!!! WARNING ⚠️ THIS TREE WILL DESTROY YOUR YARD. THE ROOTS WILL GO under your sidewalk or Fondation and GROW .I cut a tree down 7 months ago and the roots continue to grow and survive .

    • @chinatownboy7482
      @chinatownboy7482 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's why these are grown in containers. When a root sucker appears, grow it for 3 years. Then you can relocate it to another pot. Now take a cutting from your cultivated tree, and graft it onto that tree.
