Small tip for your cameras (in case you aren’t already doing this): Create an ‘If Found’ text file with all of your contact information and put it on the SD cards in all of your cameras. That way if you lose a camera and someone finds it, the text file provides them with info on how to get the camera back to you.
Nice ride segment. Kudos for knowing its Leed and not Led. You almost sound like locals. I’ve ridden that area many times and have been missing it for the last few years living in Florida. But I do ride 12 months...without “Heavy Snow”. Chris sounded so unbelieving of that forecast.
Oh man .. bummer. I hate it when that happens! I am always being teased by my buds for securing my "stuff", probably because I use 'dry line' (construction string). Thanks again for all the smiles. Take care.
we have been to the blackhills so many times, only once during bike week. Needles and spearfish are awesome. Love the hills and planning on going through this summer along with Oregon.
I had a similar incident up by glacier. I actually saw the camera tumbling behind me in the rear view, although I didn't realize it was my camera! Never found it. Go pro replaced it for me for free though. Since then I have put a "leash" or tether on my cameras. You were lucky to find it. I really enjoy seeing your adventures. Thanks for sharing. Yall are hitting many of the same places I have traveled thru although I only do 2-3 weeks at a time. If your back in Wyoming drop me a line.
The video of you driving on a winding road is dynamic and wonderful. I'm glad and grateful to see your wonderful video again. From Woongkham, a South Korean TH-camr. 🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍
I have a suggestion for your GoPro falling off situation which I personally use. I never trusted the mounts to hold up over time and bad roads so I made a string harness using parchute strings and nylon string. I use the same harness whether the GoPro is on my helmet or bike. On the helmet one end of the harness goes to the chin strap.
Harley Davidson... should be paying you for showing the world how tuff & reliable there touring bikes can be on & off the roadway...specially towing a trailer with all the equipment on it, I'm impressed for-sure...What kind of mileage are you getting on the rear tire & what brand tire on your Roadglide. BMW also doing it. Good Video.
You guys might want to build an alcohol heater out if a paint can, toilet paper roll, and a bottle of alcohol. I used one in my tent a bunch of times while I was a scout leader. Will heat a tent good and no fumes to worry about.
It would be great if you could state the date at the start of each video to keep it in perspective to the time it's posted from the time it is filmed. I really enjoy your vids. We did yellowstone and beartooth in August 2019 and found it really cold at night. Just wondered when you were in yellowstone?
Yes we plan on the for next season. These are already recorded and ready for me to edit so I can’t until next season. This one was recorded in early September.
Spearfish Canyon Road is amazing. My wife and I were out there in 2017. Awesome content folks! I've been binge watching y'all's videos since I discovered them. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for letting me come along on you journey, I really enjoy your videos! I am a pastor and love to ride also. Each time I see your videos I pray for ya'll and safe travels.
oh richard awesome video. took wife across beartooth pass july 2012, had 30 foot snowbanks on north side of pass. brought back many memories. did you have any clutch or brake concerns pulling a trailer across the pass? video was to short. could have made ten parts. if in arkansas let me know. stay with us. rest and recharge. wife good cook. I ride heritage have many tools for maintenance and good mechanic.
Interesting comment as you were setting up camp about charging your batteries with the Solar panels... I would have thought the bike charging system would bring everything up to full charge after a long ride? You are riding some beautiful geography. I am enjoying following your journey.
I can't hardly believe it. When did you record this trip. In the mountains and no snow in December? December in Minnesota sucks. the Bear tooth is not so far south in relation to Minnesota but yet you have great riding weather. WOW! It's time to leave this miserable state once and for all.
There is so much to see and do in the Sturgis area, you could spend weeks out there just hitting the major tourist places.....I hope you get out of there before the heavy snow Richard had forecasted.
My wife and I have stayed in dozens of those cabins oll over the east. We really like them. especially when it's raning. South Dakota in September , you guys are very brave.

Did Beartooth in 2015 was a great ride. Stayed in Redlodge MT. It was i the upper 30s when we did it in Aug. There is a great dinner in Redlodge. Wife an I watching the ur videos we are counting out day till be hit the road.
My new favorite channel! I've ridden those roads several times riding up from Florida, so beautiful. I do a month long trip out west every year, and hit all the rallies I can. Got my first street legal Honda at 15 to deliver newspapers and I've never been a day without a motorcycle since,,,,54 years now. You two enjoy the adventure and I'll be watching,,, Ocala Fl.
Another great video. Getting me excited about planning for next summer. I won't be hitting those areas for at least a couple of years but you've got me hyped up in general.
Another great video. I have been anticipating your South Dakota footage. Miss riding the hills. I was very blessed to enjoy 10 years out there. Even beautiful in the winter. Ride safe and God Bless!

Looking good. I was up that way first of may to Deadwood. First of June Yellow stone and Tetons. Snow both trips. Love that country on a bike. Keep safe. Stay warm🏃🏻♀️❄️☃️🌞🤗🤗
I bought the Nemo Disco last Wednesday and took off to check it out on Thursday with my Big Agnes Tiger Wall 2. Getting ready to do a solo motorcycle camping trip. Thank you for the recommendation of the great sleeping bag. It was 27° but I was pretty toasty in my sleeping bag. Love your videos! Maybe I will see you guys on the road one day.🙂
Nice roads, nice falls, two really nice moto camping enthusiasts. Thanks for putting a smile on my face you two! I'm already looking forward to a couple of BMW rallies in 2021, postponed from 2020. The 49'er, hosted by The BMW Club of NorCal, is an annual rally that takes place in Mariposa, CA (usually) on the Memorial Day weekend. The BMW MOA's National Rally will be in Great Falls, MT. June 24-27. Only 14 weeks until I insure my bike. We can't leave the Okanagan Valley yet by the middle of March, but we can ride. Cheers from British Columbia. Gordon ps: There's another Bridal Veil Falls near Hope, British Columbia.
Just want to say thank you for all your time editing and condensing down. I very much look forward to viewing your adventures each week. I'm curious how long you plan to live a life on the road. A couple years from now ill be able to retire and look forward to exploring as you are. I'm curious if you have placed a time limit to steady life on the bike (I think it's probably a pretty hard life.....as you have already stated) but I've been a tumbleweed my whole life and just can't seem to put down roots. This is such a big beautiful country we live in and begs to be explored. Hope you're headed South where it's warmer for the Winter (maybe Mexico???) and maybe have a chance to explore East next year. I look forward to the opportunity to go slowly (and smell the roses just as you two seem to be doing) and not feel rushed to return because vacation time ran out. Thank you again for allowing me to live vicariously through your travels. Winters are very LONG in Minnesota.

well the underside has no rust 🤣🤣
Watching you guys makes me want to get more involved with my own motorcycle...thanks.

Love riding the Beartooth & the Chief Joseph Highways
Chief Joseph is one of my favorite roads.
It makes me feel good when you film the places where I’ve been. Fuel injection was invented for places like the Bears Tooth Pass. Ride safe.

The bikes do also, when we remember to plug them in. The solar is like having power at the house we just don’t think about not having power.

How are yall doing in the Snow?
how much was the cabin in red lodge , I been there 2 times but stayed in Cody ,up the bear tooth pass then back for the night .
If I remember it was kinda expensive for a camping cabin. Maybe $75 in that range. It was a great logo for riding bear tooth pass.
Any regrets on this trip? Different bikes? Bigger or no trailer? Different gear?
Stay tuned we have an update in the works.
Do you still use your tank bag on the Harley
Just wondering how you power all of your cameras while you are riding. Do you change out the batteries often or power them from the bike?
