Happy New Year! I liked the video a lot, I also don't have any experience with TCG at all, and is nice to see someone first experiences with it. Although it's funny to think that you WILL get robbed of something no matter how you play it, but oh well. In what I am most interested is in the game boy, I LOVE how the illustrations look in a GameBoy screen, and I already assumed it would be grindy, but it justs look SO good. It would be nice to learn how to play irl with cards, but I have no money for that.
Nice video. I used to be really into the Pokemon TCG...But when the phone game came out I never touched it. Like you said why bother playing the gacha when you could already play the GB game through the switch? Grading is something pretty typical for all types of collectables. The whole idea is that if you want a nice copy of something it'll be one that someone took care of. But we're talking about cards designed to be in the hands of kids, which means they're usually not going to survive. It's the same idea of paying more for something in a never opened box...But yeah. It's all about the collectable or speculative value of something.
