Hi Surgeon,
I recently went through this surgery myself at Indian Spine Injury Center, Vasantkunj ,Delhi. Having gone through a repeated ON and OFF painful phases for more than three years , I have experienced the issue of slip disc & painful experience it imparts to it's core.
Post surgery, now it's been 11 days , I have started standing vertically ( although keeping very close one step opening up ahead at a time ).In nutshell, surgery is scary ,but at least in my case I can now experience at lot of improvements.
I don't know how good you are as a practicing surgeon but you are defintely a very good communicator ( a light version of a teacher ) who can dissect the topic , make it simpler and convey it to the mass in easy to understand language (without any intricate jargoans ).
Pls keep it up , world needs a lot of good initiatives from everyone in their respective field of domain.
