Clarification. BoC has zero part of Wuju Bakery production, except that Jeff and Barcode was hired from them, when they were still with BoC. When Jeff left BoC in February 2023, his company (SOS) continued working with Hanyung, but it was/is still Hanyung that has all the production rights. I understand why the author removed the omegaverse on pitbabe 2, I think its the right thing to do as of the moment. Honestly even though thailand or other countries acceptance towards lgbtq+ is already high, but the idea of "men getting pregnant" is on another level, even if you say its just a fiction or just on omegaverse world but still, its more controversial and hard to accept than two men in love. Thanks for reporting about PongTong separation in a respectful way. We surely don't know the reasons for it and it's not our business at all, but I appreciated Tong's decision to share this bit of information with fans. Of course there's nothing to apologize for, but it's so considerate of him to think about fans feelings, both solo and a couple. As far as I've seen main couple FCs showed respect to their decision and promised to continue supporting them separately from now on, as colleagues. Hopefully there won't be any issues or drama regarding it from now on. Of course there are already some ppl trying to put blame on someone or even accusing PongTong of creating fake drama for promotional reasons, but let it just be on them and as I see there's not many of those anyway. The only thing I'd add regarding Barcode part of the video is that Wuju bakery wasn't BoC project from the start, even if they announced it and showed the teaser. Golden Blood: when it airs I'm going to see it. 3- JoogDunk: haven't even noticed that they seem to slowly following separate paths. 4- PongTong: a couple or not I hope each one is happy. Especially Tong. 5- PitBabe and omegaverse: until this series I had a different idea of what an omegaverse is because I thought it was part of the werewolf universe. That is: to be an alpha, beta and omega they had to be a werewolf in the first place. Now I don't really know what omega verse is: people with superpowers like the superheroes or the witches in Charmed or Magnus Bane? If that's the case: will they remove the superpowers? For me PitBabe was way more about they fighting Tony and his human trafficking than the superpower that I hardly noticed they had. So if they remove them I don't think I'll notice and I am eager to see season 2. And mpreg: for one I'm relieved that there isn't oing to be one. I loved pitbabe, and as soon as I heard the OG story is an omegaverse I stopped dead in my tracks because I know what that means and I am SO NOT HERE for the possible inclusion of mpreg. About omegaverse and werewolves: that's how omegaverse started, since it was inspired by (outdated and long since disproven) research about wolf pack structure, but people just took the idea and ran with it. Since it's a fairly new genre that originated with fanfiction, there's no strictly defined rules, and each author can define their own world settings. Some of it is still about werewolves or other animal shifters, while some of it is about humans, or aliens, or whatever. Some of it has mpreg, some of it does not. Some of it has more categories than just Alpha, Beta and Omega. Basically, the only common denominator is that people have these biologically determined "castes" or "secondary genders", but exactly what those _mean_ in each story setting can vary wildly. That's why I got nervous when I saw that pitbabe supposedly includes that in the novel but I am relieved that it will not be included in season 2. Ive noticed this to be a trend with BL actors. Whether their onscreen ships move to something more personal or it’s just perceived that way. There seems to be no issue in playing a 🌈 person on tv but I feel like many of them don’t want to be outed in real life. Like they don’t want to really be seen as 🌈 or labeled as a 🌈 actor and only be casted as such. I feel like that’s what happen with MileApo. They were constantly being personally labeled but I think it ruined their relationship a bit and smile pulled away. I think Thai BL actors have open minds and might have open preferences but they very much want to keep it private. It has to suck to be a BL actor but also you should expect the fans to do the most.
I dislike it when major plot points are removed from Series, book or otherwise, it messes with continuity in the story and also interferes with any plot lines based on those story elements. Removing the A/B/O from Pit Babe is a huge plot line for that Series. If the author has an issue with it they shouldn’t have used it in the first place and it makes them sound like a hypocrite removing it in a sequel because it doesn’t align with their views.

From what I heard it's considerated as pushing heteronormative agenda in BL? Doesn't make much sense to me tbh cause there are so many different ways of implement omegaverse in the story, some are not even including mpreg element at all and focused more on social aspects... as for me it's like considering whole BL as problematic based on some popular (mostly outdated) tropes. I'm yet to see a proper explanation of problematic nature of omegaverse. Also heard complaints about it being unrealistic, but it's just a fantasy element, there are many other stories with those.

Writers will write what they want. Unless a writer is contracted to write a certain story in a certain way, then it is their business. I do read omega verse fiction and enjoy it when well written, but I can see how it is difficult to bring to the small screen. I didn't really notice it during the series in the first place. I don't understand how you can be a fan of someone and then just turn on them because they have different interests/views than you. It blows my mind that people throw around phobic everywhere. People are not scared of a group. Maybe a person but not a group. You may not like that they are different but stop throwing hate. People can disagree with you and how you live without them being some kind of phobic. Let people live their lives. If you decide not to support them anymore fine but spreading hate and trying to get others to hate someone based on a feeling you have is childish. A smart person can listen to another person and even if they don't agree they can act civilly with one another. And then not be in the other person's life. Walk away and leave them live their life as well as you live yours. Most of them do this for the money. That is all. They get paid to act. That does not mean that is their entire personality. When Jeff left BoC in February 2023, his company (SOS) continued working with Hanyung, but it was/is still Hanyung that has all the production rights. Thanks for reporting about PongTong separation in a respectful way. We surely don't know the reasons for it and it's not our business at all, but I appreciated Tong's decision to share this bit of information with fans. Of course there's nothing to apologize for, but it's so considerate of him to think about fans feelings, both solo and a couple. As far as I've seen main couple FCs showed respect to their decision and promised to continue supporting them separately from now on, as colleagues. Hopefully there won't be any issues or drama regarding it from now on. Of course there are already some ppl trying to put blame on someone or even accusing PongTong of creating fake drama for promotional reasons, but let it just be on them and as I see there's not many of those anyway.
The only thing I'd add regarding Barcode part of the video is that Wuju bakery wasn't BoC project from the start, even if they announced it and showed the teaser. It's produced by Korean company Hanyang studio who kept delaying release for different reasons and finally promised it for Oct 2024, but went silent since then.

I loved pitbabe, and as soon as I heard the OG story is an omegaverse I stopped dead in my tracks because I know what that means and I am SO NOT HERE for the possible inclusion of mpreg. I think it's utter bullsh*t and I feel very uncomfortable when I see it in novels let alone in live action and especially in a show I love so much. I pray the mpreg is deleted from season 2 otherwise the show will be completely ruined.
About omegaverse and werewolves: that's how omegaverse started, since it was inspired by (outdated and long since disproven) research about wolf pack structure, but people just took the idea and ran with it. Since it's a fairly new genre that originated with fanfiction, there's no strictly defined rules, and each author can define their own world settings. Some of it is still about werewolves or other animal shifters, while some of it is about humans, or aliens, or whatever. Some of it has mpreg, some of it does not. Some of it has more categories than just Alpha, Beta and Omega. Basically, the only common denominator is that people have these biologically determined "castes" or "secondary genders", but exactly what those _mean_ in each story setting can vary wildly. Not sure if this helped 😂

Ive noticed this to be a trend with BL actors. Whether their onscreen ships move to something more personal or it’s just perceived that way. There seems to be no issue in playing a 🌈 person on tv but I feel like many of them don’t want to be outed in real life. Like they don’t want to really be seen as 🌈 or labeled as a 🌈 actor and only be casted as such. I feel like that’s what happen with MileApo. They were constantly being personally labeled but I think it ruined their relationship a bit and smile pulled away. I dislike it when major plot points are removed from Series, book or otherwise, it messes with continuity in the story and also interferes with any plot lines based on those story elements. Removing the A/B/O from Pit Babe is a huge plot line for that Series. If the author has an issue with it they shouldn’t have used it in the first place and it makes them sound like a hypocrite removing it in a sequel because it doesn’t align with their views.
It's messed up to have that plot in any BL it's a homophobic fetish i do like it.

From what I heard it's considerated as pushing heteronormative agenda in BL? Doesn't make much sense to me tbh cause there are so many different ways of implement omegaverse in the story, some are not even including mpreg element at all and focused more on social aspects... as for me it's like considering whole BL as problematic based on some popular (mostly outdated) tropes. I'm yet to see a proper explanation of problematic nature of omegaverse. Also heard complaints about it being unrealistic, but it's just a fantasy element, there are many other stories with those.

Writers will write what they want. Unless a writer is contracted to write a certain story in a certain way, then it is their business. I do read omega verse fiction and enjoy it when well written, but I can see how it is difficult to bring to the small screen. I didn't really notice it during the series in the first place.

agreed! That's literally what I've been saying on MDL. You don't have to like people's differing opinions or viewpoints but you have to at least respect it or move on. Honestly why I watched pitbabe at first place it just because that ABO gen ..and this is not only about man getting pre with another man this thing is not necessary to display or add in a story they just can simply state one is Alpha and other one is beta or Omega simple this fact makes a thing extra special but if they will completely remove this fact then this drama will be just another BL drama with no special factor in it plus this decision will be put extra pressure on the makers on P2 series now because they need to be more creative and add too many more dramatic eliminate in order to make this series popular in pitebabe fans

I don't understand how you can be a fan of someone and then just turn on them because they have different interests/views than you. It blows my mind that people throw around phobic everywhere. People are not scared of a group. Maybe a person but not a group. You may not like that they are different but stop throwing hate. People can disagree with you and how you live without them being some kind of phobic. Let people live their lives. If you decide not to support them anymore fine but spreading hate and trying to get others to hate someone based on a feeling you have is childish. A smart person can listen to another person and even if they don't agree they can act civilly with one another. And then not be in the other person's life. Walk away and leave them live their life as well as you live yours. Most of them do this for the money. That is all. They get paid to act. That does not mean that is their entire personality. Makes me sad when people don't even know a person personally and throw hate. Shows me there needs to be more growth within people today. I hope the people of this world grow and learn that not everyone has to think just like you. However, they can be civil and have a base level respect. Cancel culture is ridiculous. The actors are doing their best. But at the end of the day if you are not in their inner circle you should either support or move on, but leave your own hate with you and not spread it to others.
