Hearing about these problems is what is preventing me from wanting to get anything from them, and we need more people to speak up. The shipping needs to be top tier quality, the replacement for broken or missing parts needs to be top tier, the customer service needs to be top tier. If you're spending ~$10k+ on at the end of the day, a scooter, there's really no room for poor experiences.
Absolutely agree. The entire concept of purchasing a Weped electric scooter should bring a feeling similar to buying a brand new Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, or BMW. This carmaker places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Weped really needs to step it up and stop listening to wrong, so-called partners who provide incorrect marketing strategies.
As I told you kizi I have the weped dark knight and the riding experience is like no other experience I also have the dualtron x limited witch is a beast the dualtron x limited is probably the best bang for the money and better support and customer service don't get me wrong the weped is bad ass but your pretty much on your own if you have a problem with the weped your going to have to handle.iv had my dark knight up to 65 mph and my x limited 60 mph I love my weped dark knight the ride is incredible and so is the power the x limited rides great and crazy power to but if you want more available parts and service and more support I'd go for x limited but if you don't mind working on your scooter and doing research for repairs then weped is great too
Yes, I agree. The reason why Dualtron has made a name for themselves around the world is because of the good customer service provided by the Minimotor retailers globally. When the Dualtron Storm Limited was having issues, people only exercised patience because of the reputation Minimotors retailers have built with their customers and the electric scooter community.
I believe WEPED is a one man show. What he makes is a metal art in transportation form. Obviously, he is not in it for the money. He strives for the best and always looks for something new. He is very meticulous at building, and it is visible in his work. Now the downside of such artwork is that they cannot be readily available, at least, not the originals. And, the price. Yeah, these things have a price of an art as well. $10k for a scooter? is a very niche market to begin with.
Weped isn't a one-man show anymore, maybe it was in the beginning, but that's not even an excuse. Works Electric, on the other hand, is actually a one-man show, but still delivers acceptable customer service.
It is better to get a unit via one of their distributors, and when you work with those distributors, make sure they are the technical kind of distributor who knows how to service / maintain them and not just a "warehouse" that moves products. I was lucky one of those technical / knowledgeable distributors was Weped Philippines. They unboxed and checked the unit before releasing it to me (a 2020 weped FF). I rode it hard for over 60kms and one of the fans stopped working. I brought it to Weped Philippines and diagnosed a pinched wire and all cool. My FF ran trouble free for over 2 years until the zip ties for the front phase controllers got loose, rubbed the insulation off and stopped working. I took it to the distributor and they were able to diagnose that the kelly controllers were fine, but the hall sensors were cooked (rubbed wire shorted and sent 60v to the sensors and throttle burning them up and need replacing). Replacing the hall sensors was a long tedious job and took several days and some calibration / road test. My FF is still working fine and ran over 10k km already You need to be a technical person and do basic maintenance on these yourself, like tightening suspension bolts, maintaining proper tire pressures, checking the wires for any damage, mechanical / electrical sympathy that can tell you something is slightly off. High performance machines need high degree of care and maintenance. My 0.02 cents
I'm in West Canada and have a Weped SST and I think it's time to do a video about the nightmare I went though with WEPED getting my scooter here in West Canada.
Oh wow! We would definitely like for you to share your experience. If we want Weped to get better and build a stronger relationship with their customers, as well as a good reputation for their brand.
Kizi my brother, you are so RIGHT to all you are saying..!!👏👏👌 How many times in different videos write you " Weped DON'T mind" Anyway i hope Weped do the right thing for our friend....😘
I Too Rely On Customer Reviews, 😮 FYI - Customer Service Is The Key To A Businesses Success 😮 Why Would Anyone Spend Thousands Of Dollars If NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE 😮 Especially When You've Developed A Great Product Not Many Others Have Developed Yet? 😮
These negative customer experiences with Weped's support team will definitely tarnish the reputation of the company and lead to a loss of trust, ultimately resulting in a downfall, decline in sales, and competitors gaining an advantage. Competing companies with better customer support, like Dualtron Minimotor, can attract dissatisfied customers away from Weped.
4:00 you are right because it only took his video for me to say YEAH IM GOOD. i went to buy the extreme bull k6 instead 3 days ago. so you guys are right and guess what the k6 has the best acceleration of the line and a top speed of 75mph I got it from alien rides. Ill be reviewing it on my channel as soon as it is delivered. Im not going to cough out 10gram to also have a bad exp and i was interested in the weped super compo. not anymore. maybe 10 years from now
6:00 Kizi that happened to me too. I sent them a message on the supercomp then after 2 messages they stop responding. I wanted to curse them out like i guess you guys have too much money right but i kept my composure. Im so glad i didnt buy it right now.
As much as I love the weped scooters, all those video they put out is kinda useless at this point when we don’t have any big names in the American market talking about it. They need to start collaborating with PEV reviewers to fully tap into the international market.
Weped don't need to collaborate with PEV reviewers!!!!!! The rightful owners or buyers will naturally do it for free!!!! Don't confuse customer support for all the fubars with scratch-my-back-I scratch-yours scooter review shit!
I think it would be cool if it had a back brace you could lock yourself into like be one with the machine. Wardrobe picking would be some sort of kevlar suit. I can hear the sonic boom of takeoff now. I think I just peed myself.
I noticed that too. There are no actual real owners who create content with Weped products and provide honest feedback. My friend V owned a Weped SST and encountered issues with the controllers and throttle. He couldn't get replacement parts because Weped doesn't really offer a warranty for these expensive electric scooters. They have to do better
Where's the so-called first authorized and official weped global partner on the face of the earth.. . We still can't see their name on weped website even after weped korea changed their sonic x specifications on their global website.. weped korea be like "bravo bravo for being all in accomplice to our worldwide DAMAGE CONTROL! Way to go, my man!" 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm so confused, man. How can Weped electric scooters be so advanced in technology, yet something as common as customer communication services? They are so behind using old technology. We need a dedicated customer service rep for how much they are charging for their electric scooters.
@@KiziEwheels i thought you were speaking with the guy who has the audacity to introduce themselves as the first authorized and official weped global partner whom allegedly weped korea collaborate with to represent them in North America and across the globe??? did they change their bio to "weped global partner for damage control" ??? i'm so confused as hell.. where are they when the going gets tough?? have you not seen his bespoke honey glazed suckerpunch pitch to the community?
Hate to break it to ya but end of the day, the real answer they can't is cos they don't care (&or perhaps want) to. Maybe Weped is happy being a KDM ala JDM niche product & any international interests is merely icing on the cake so long's a dealer deals with CS. Sounds like the Weped crew are more engineers, innovators & ultimately riders rather than out to grab volume sales & all the hassles that comes from the global market. Might be frustrating for scoot enthusiasts outside of SK but I can't say its a wrong or even bad strategy as witnessed by Weped's continued well being. Just a thought
I completely understand where you are coming from, but from what I have observed about Weped, they definitely have global ambitions. I know they aspire to be recognized as the top high-performance electric vehicle manufacturer in the world, but I could be wrong.

Good review ,eye had the same experience with weeped so went a different direction .eye just received my gia MK from Brad a week ago .
I'm happy you got your hollyburn MK I just created a group for the rovers

He's asking why isn't everyone driving a Weped while looking at a 9.200 dollar priced scooter.....
Hello Kizi where are you located? want to send you a scooter
Hello
I’m located in Los Angeles, California. Let’s chat
notice there are virtually no videos out there from actual owners..... it's all promotional blah-blah out there. it's suspicious to say the least!
