Yeah, he is like an 80s skater who wasn't affected by the pigeonholed era (small wheels, popsicle decks, baggy pants) and just kept riding shaped decks into the 90s. Chris and Winkowski have it in their veins. I got a Winkowski trash panda, might have to get a Chris deck too if he releases one. Ive been waiting years to see skaters like these blokes. Jaime Mateu knows how to roll too. He rides a popsicle deck tho. High level stuff. Old school. Good times for skating these days. There is no barriers and clicks anymore. Its all terrain. All styles. All tricks. No pigeonholes. Its awesome.

Every time John missed the big triple heel he would beat his board on the curb and pieces were flying everywhere.. he coulda just threw a regular old nollie.. that woulda been sick too.. I’d like to see all these tricks turn to makes but it’s badass just to get out there and even try.. that gap looks like a tough time.. sick gap.. even an Ollie on that’s sick..
Hey Dan, maybe set up a 35-50 mm (long)lens on a tripod, put a backpack in front of it so it won't get hit by a board, for these kind of sessions. You can still cover shit with your phone and commenting on while the other one actually gets good footage. Hell we live in 200x set up a Gimbal and it can track movement and shit.
