How do you know where on a lake to start scoping. Do you idle around using down and side scan or just drive over to a certain part of the lake and drop the TM? 🙏
You can use SI/2D to find bait and thats a good way to find them, if there is no bait I look for choke points or guts that they could be grouped up in. Very rarely I just drop the trolling motor and start fishing on a new body of water.
@@brockbilafishing do you fish lakes, where there’s a lot of other predator fish and or trash fish? Here in Texas we run into a lot of carp and gar and drum and hybrids so I feel like sometimes it’s hard to distinguish bass from these other fish. Is it just a guess and check and learn from experience type of thing? Appreciate it man.
@@colw07 Yes sir, it is hard to tell but you hit it on the tee. Its spending time doing it so you start to learn. Bass typically are swimming and are not in huge groups. The return is also not as bright as a carp/gar
@@brockbilafishingI have had issues with mine getting hung in my guides, other than that its super strong. Just trying to trouble shoot that last issue
@codycampbellfishing2007 make sure you cut the fluorocarbon tag end as close as possible to the knot. If there is a tag end hanging out it will catch really badly. The tag end of the braid doesn’t matter as much since it’s super flimsy. Also, if you’re using heavy braid it will make the knot bulkier. For my heavy braid to leader setups I like an FG knot a lot more as it’s quite a bit thinner. Much more difficult to tie, but with practice it’s not bad.
Crazy Alberto when you wrap back up the second wrap 👍
Been trying to learn more on using a jighead minnow. Great video and looking forward to putting this into practice once the ice is off the lake.
Thank you! Hope it gets off soon and you can go catch em up!
Jig weights for baitball and floaters? Thanks
@@kps1173 1/4 ounce for floaters and 3/8-1oz for the bait balls! Most of the time I use a 3/8-1/2
Dude sick wrap!
Thank ya man!
Enjoyed it. Fun watching those suckers bum rush the Shad Shape Worm.
They eat that dang thing! Thanks for watching!

@@bmaljianfishing Yes, it’s a garmin lv’s 34
Albright or Alberto knot is what I think it is. I’ve been using that and it’s worked well. 🎉
It’s SOLID!
You should make more scope vids on different techniques
What is one technique you would like to see?
@ maybe bed fishing with perspective and or livescoping docks or something
@@CaleCompton-mf2gpBed fishing I’ll definitely do when that time comes around. I’ll go record a dock video! Thank you for the insight
Alberto knot!
