LOVE the axe throwing idea. I would put a gate up to help with the bounce off (yes, axes do bounce off of the back of them hit the fence/wall) and extend the back fence a little higher. It’s so much fun and stress relieving.

Just a thought, in my rural county in Ky, we have people donate children’s cloths to the elementary and middle schools for needy kids, but no one was really donating clothes for the more adult high school kids/teens. We had a local business women who saw the need and started gathering slightly used clothes donations for the high school girls and boys. And it became very popular, again just a though, 🙂

I personally agree with Priscilla about the axe throwing. For the amount of time that you do it, there is no reason why you can't go to a designated place for that activity. In addition to that, why would you want to hazard the chance that your axe would hit your brand new beautiful fencing, even if you are a self professed excellent axe thrower. I can see a guest who doesn't have your skill, missing the target and hitting the fence. In order to eliminate that hazard you would have to purchase another new kind of shielding so that the fence doesn't get hit. So, I agree with Priscilla and I don't even know what her reasoning is. It is just one sport you really don't need in your yard.
