Hi Jose, So the two products are Aquablock XL, miracote.com/aqua-blok/ And Miracote Membrane C, miracote.com/membrane-c/ You can search around for a distributor around you from there website I would imagine. Have other resources on how to make faux rock, including free stuff at davehenderson.podia.com if ya like. Best of luck to you! :)

I use E-95G polyurethane from Westcote. Just Google them and track down a distributor to get it. Best of luck to you! More fake rock how-tos, including free PDF downloads and more are at davehenderson.podia.com. For my blogs and links to other platforms try www.daverhenderson.com

Hi Dave, thank you for all your videos. I bought your pdf book and learnt a lot from it. Is miracote aqua-blok xl absolutely necessary or just membrane C would do it? I built a waterfall. There is a liner underneath. I built concrete rock around it and painted it but now it is leaking. I think the concrete is sucking the water out. So now I am going to strip the paint off and put a membrane C on it where the water hits?. Do you think it that is enough? Thank you and God bless

Hi M. S., Thanks for the kind words and for investing in my little book. Appreciate it! :) On your question, if you have a liner under everything is shouldn't leak. I don't know the size and scope of your feature but if you run it a lot and it's in the sun evaporation can and will remove water. The other possibilities are a fold or hole in the liner could be causing water to escape. Regarding Aqua-Blok XL, I use that on all concrete projects. Never with a liner job. On your situation you could go with the Membrane C using 2 coats. But before I paint it on I always go over the entire feature where water will be standing or moving prior to painted on Membrane C filling in all pockets, holes, cracks or any other possible places that would be hard to get the membrane coating into and covered. I use a mortar mix with lot's of acrylic added for this. Once that's done I know that I have a better shot at full coverage of the waterproofing coating. With the paint stripping off paint that's been applied to concrete and/or mortar the only effective way to do that is with a sand blaster. Using paint strippers will be messy, and will leave chemicals on the rockwork that could cause a problem with the coating materials adherence. But you can try it if you want. Lastly, once concrete is set and especially if you've sealed it with a membrane it really doesn't suck out water. Only cracks and holes could do that to the degree you notice a water loss. At least that's what I'm thinking. Anyway, hope that helps. Best of luck to you! Cheers, Mr. Dave :)

@@DaveHendersonFakeRockVideos Thank you! Very very helpful. I think there is a fold and I see where water is coming out at the bottom of the slope. I got my membrane C. Will sand the paint off and put a layer of mortar then 2 layers of membrane C. I also got "Pond Shield" before I asked you which probably I return. Will make my own video soon and cannot wait to show you. I made my own technique of shaping the rocks but used a lot of your expertise. Thank you :)

@@mahzadart Sounds good. If you're gonna be putting on another texture coat on then I would take a 4 1/2" diamond grinding disk and an angle grinder and score and notch up the surfaces instead of the just sanding. This will ensure a good bond, (don't forget the acrylic). I usually make a crisscross grind pattern.. Anyway, best of luck to you! Cheers, Mr. Dave :)
