As someone who also scratchbuild & toy bashes.....I can tell you I love your style. I too love the derelict / dystopian look but I was amazed brother. From one artist to another ......bravo!!!!
The build was a very clever idea and very well executed, but TBH I skipped or muted half the video. The music was obnoxious at best and certainly more trouble than it was worth. As for commentary, the way to do a video like this is to film yourself doing the build but with no sound, then edit the footage down to the relevant parts cutting or speeding up as necessary. For example, we did not need to see the entire disassembly of the toy. Then record a separate voice track that you can edit and add to the video, synching it to explain what you did at each step. You can do that at your computer with a mic and even a few pieces of acoustic foam in a corner and it will sound a lot better. As it is, if you just have a mic standing there while you work or even clipped to your lapel, I literally cannot hear a word you're saying. Hope that helps.

That looks so incredible. Just to get that from a fire truck is inspirational. You must have a fantastic imagination. I try and throw stuff together like that and it just looks like a pile of crap I have thrown together!! 😂😂
Absolutely incredible video and an equally incredible build. All the dirt, grime, rust, blinking lights and grimdark soundtrack made me feel like I was scraping to survive on some oppressive Hive World. Excited to see more, from one Belfastian to another :D

Ooh, that tool rack on the side of the fire engine is a great piece of detail. I liked the knolling of all the bits at the start of the build. Looking at the photos of the finished terrain I would never have guessed what it was made from. The video is great; and I was tickled by the first piece of music after commenting on Luke's facebook page that you should cue the music from John Carpenter's "The Thing". :D Doing the hazard stripes with a marker is neat. And salvaging the truck's lighting is great too.

It's actually just a piece of ply I had lying around! I'd used the other half for the base of a previous build!
