What an honor for me to see these two artists together l met Bill on two different occasions one in a restaurant in my hometown Blakely Georgia l can't remember the year Bill,s son was about ten years old l introduced myself and he was very nice to me he had a friend that lives in my hometown they worked together in Commerce Ga. and again in 1990 for a talent show in my hometown we met again along with Connie Smith l will never forget it he is a country music treasure.
Jimmy I'm a big fan. I love that you're not ashamed to share your relationship with our Redeemer Jesus Christ. Your new endeavor with your top self brothers of the heart is awesome. When might y'all be in Central Fla. Would love to see you guys. God bless you, an of course THE MAN Whispering Bill.. I look forward to more episodes. Great job.

Bill kind of forgot the history of the Statler Brothers. They put out 23 albums and some 48 singles in 18 years with Lew Dewitt. Jimmy came in in 1983 and wrote and sang three #1 songs and extended their run on country radio through the 1980s, but the bulk of their history and iconic songs and awards--3 Grammies, 7 CMA Awards for "Vocal Group of the Year--were when Lew Dewitt was in the group. (And Lew wrote the iconic "Flowers On the Wall."
